Didnt Bose score the most points for the Kings? Or was it a head to head player performance?

Not sure how much you know about NBL, but last seasn one game stood out to me and i was very very irritated...
The Taipans v the Breakers....
The Brakers were leading by 15 points with about 1 min and 10 secs left...
A timeout was called, the Taipans took off all there starters (conceeded), the Breakers put there BEST player Penney who was on the bench back into the game, then they ran the ball up and down the court and the over just got in.......
Could you provide one rational explanation as to why when the opposition conceed defetat by taking out there best players (down by 15 with just a tad over a minute remaining) AND the breakers put there MVP and most lethal scorer back into the game with ZERO to gain?
And the over just trickled in...

Furthermore, in this league, i have noticed the overs and unders are heavily influenced by the amount of fouls - free throws being called..........
So in a way, you shouldnt really look at the players ability, but rather what the refs are going to do.......
Furthermore, the 36ers in there previous 2 games, attempted 60 and 61 Fg's, and on Friday night attempted 85FG's???? In 10 minute qtrs, and they had 17 turnovers?????
All of a sudden from going to an average tempo team to one that was shooting every 5 secs regardless........
Strange........

I cant remember if it was the first game, i do remember the game going over in the last few seconds.
I am aware of that sponsorship deal, however, the move made to bring Penney who had been out injured for a period back into the game AFTER the game was blown out and the Taipans conceeded defeat....
Last week, the Kangaroos in the RL test match blew out the Kiwis, with 20 mins to go, Lockyer who ha also been out injured was TAKEN OFF.
I have been watching sports all my life, I HAVE NEVER seen a star player coming back into game in th elast few moments where the game is blown out.
I also do remember the over just trickling in for that, th eover under was about 168 from memory..
That was extremely suspicious

I think you are right, it was a second half bet.
Regarding Penney, prior to that game, he was out injured and in that game i believe it was his first game back from injury.
I am not saying the Breakers went on there laptops at half time.
all what i am saying is that i have been watching sports a very very long time and i cannot remember a time where the game was effectively gone (the Taipans had also conceeded) and a star player was brought back in.
Penney at the timeout was on the bench, if he was already in the game and there were no timeouts, then you say, fair enough. But after the timeout, up by 15 points, the Taipans take off there starters, 1 min and 10 secs left and you bring your star and MVP who had been out injured back into the game and you start running up and down the floor like there is no tomorrow and the over just trickled in the last 20 secs?
It just smacks of suspicion.
I brought up the Lockyer example because he too was out injured, the game was a blow out, you wrap him in cotton wool which is what Sheens did.
There is absolutely no plausable and rational explanation to bring your star and MVP BACK into a game where the game was gone in your favour....
No one could give me a rational explanation as to why a coach would do this.

I also remember the season before and we were all talking about it on here......
When the Hawks played the Tigers ......
The game total was right on the betting total after a HAwks bucket with 3 secs left.......The margin between the 2 teams was about 20 points...
The tigers player got the ball with 3 secs left sprinted up the floor like his life dependent on it and put a layup in with less than 1 sec left resulting in the game going over........
I just get very very suspicious of behaviour that is outside the ordinary especially when the game is effectively gone yet the bet is in the balance.......

Yes, thats right he was out for a few weeks, for some reason i though he was injured.
Anyways, i could never understand why he was brought back in the game with 1 min 10 left and the game blown.
