It's a classic with climbs. All for one and one for all. Whoever is stronger that can breakaway from the peloton on the day will win. It may be maybe 5 sprinting for the win on the line.

Henderson will not be up there. No way in hell.

Eeckhout just has a tremendous record here. This race is the race he loves.

2005 - first
2007 - second
2008 - third
2009 - second

This year. I can tell you in similar races, he has done the following.

Omloop Het Nieusblad - 7th

Earlier this month - Driedaagse Van West Vlaanderen - 7th overall - 2 stages.

Then on the 21st.

Ronde van het Groene Hart - 2nd

Note that these other riders, Boeckmans @ $41 and Keukeleire @ $17 have ridden well.

If you want your roughie, one of those two.

Henderson = no chance.

Boonen is concentrating on other bigger races. I don't think he'll try tonight.

There won't be a big bunch sprint.

If there is a sprint with about 12 guys you would think Matt Goss might do well.

Look at the Track World Championships bet.

Anyway good luck.

I've added some more on Eeckhout to win @ $10. Another .5 units. I had a free bet so I can do it and only lose .5 units if he doesn't win. So worth the extra play.

I'll be looking closely at the live in-play market.

watching some interviews before the start of the race. and eeckhout thinks boonen is the big favourite. we will see...

Eeckhout talking down his chances. Boonen should win if he's going for it. But he might set it up for one of his minions. Boonen has bigger fish to fry. Flanders and Roubaix and potentially E3 and GW on the weekend. He doesn't care about this race.

I hope this bet got up with Eeckhout over Veelers but I don't think it did. I saw a few Skil Riders around and no An post riders.

Yep, lost that Eeckhout bet.

At the moment I'm going to stay focused on the track.

I still do like Pozzato to win E3 and I will probably back him accordingly depending on what his odds are. Then I can hedge in-play.

But GW is a 6 hours of roulette. Only in-play for that.

Bolar man,you`re a machine..Boydy5 not too foul himself.Where do you guys watch these races??Bolar is a cycling pick production line in the way he pumps them out...Good work Bolar..I have no idea how either of you sqeeze it all in..However you do...Be back for Le tour and will be tailing the masters..

Phinn, you are overrating me at the moment man. I'm having a mixed season. It's not as good as it was late last year. Not yet anyway. It will get there though. Tail me when I get hot. At the moment I'm in a cold patch re cycling.

Now I say that, I'll probably pull this Pozzato bet off.

I watch these races online. Usually there is a link to the race.

Belvedere, the way these races have gone this year, that bet is a gun of a bet. I saw it before. I'm not going to take it though as I think E3 will be a battle of a few riders with Pozzato taking it in the sprint of about five.

G/W might be one you can look at for that. Definately Flanders next Saturday. The winner in Flanders will win by more than one second.

Flanders is my Cancellara bet. I'm unloading on Cancellara. I'll be posting my play middle of next week because I will be away from the net for a week.

I've looked at GW on Sunday. I'm thinking Freire...he won it a few years ago and he's in good form. I'm looking into that one. I won't have a play for that though until Sunday.

2.5 units Eeckhout over Keukelaire

Keukelaire showed he couldn't hack it against the big boys on Wednesday. Eeckhout crashed so his result was more to do with bad luck.

2 units Pozzato over Boonen @ $2.70 - Basically, Boonen is only interested in Flanders and Roubaix. He doesn't care about these races. He's quite happy seeing one of his minions win these smaller races. He's just using these races as a warm-up to his goals.

2.5 units Boom over Hoste @ $1.68

This is all my plays for E3 Prijs Vlaanderen.

fyi keukelaire had 2 times a flat tire. didn't watch the race so i don't know if it influenced his results;

 

GW: the belgian tv commentators also think freire will win this race ;-)

Okay, so it seems both riders had bad luck. Still, I like the Eeckhout bet. These races mean a lot to him.

Cheers. Looking at Freire's price, he is worth it IMO. $9 for the win and $3 for the place. Oooh yeah.

Burghardt is my non sprinter bet.

Though i don't know how these extra climbs change things.

That link doesnt' work for me. What were their top 3?

Freire over Petacchi @ $1.60 looks an absolute gift.
