One is next week, the other is the week after. Dauphine have the queen stage up Alp d'Huez.
Firstly, I would like to apologise to anyone who tailed me during the classics. I bled a lot of money. That's two years in a row that the classics haven't been kind to me. As of next year, I'll be avoiding the classics and the only races I would be looking at will be the stage races. The only classics I would attempt to bet on is Paris-Roubaix and maybe Flanders. That would be it.
The last two races, I have hit the form again. (I hope I have). I was +35 units in Romandie and +18 units in the Giro. That makes my YTD -9.42 units.
If you all remember from last year, it was after the Tour de France that I made all the profit when riders had different ambitions. I.E Moncoutie missed the TDF mountains jersey and it was a goal for him to make amends in the Vuelta getting a stage win and the KOM jersey.
So the two major lead up events to the Tour de France are nearly upon us. The goal is to get back into the green by the Tour.
What I will also do is that If anyone does want to tail me, I will rank my plays as to the strongest. Usually I take a few H2H's as cover if one doesn't work out. So I will rank the best one.

Contador might play the same he did last year with the Dauphine and make sure he doesn't peak.
Hard to tell.
Early bets that look okay.
Soler to win outright @ $51 - can't time trial, but if he has his legs, he can win up the Alpe easily.
Sivtsov to win outright @ $51 - he can time trial. But again, coming back from injury.
Boasson-Hagen $12 for the prologue? I don't know what his form is like, but it has a hill and it should favour him than Millar. Again, it should favour Contador ahead of everyone but what is his objective?
Will wait for the head to heads. At the moment, I will probably play a small bet on some of these long shots.

Just some head to heads to start off with. These first two will probably be refunded as if one rider doesn't start, the bet will be void. But let's give it a go anyway and see if we can get lucky. The bets in italic are the suspect ones as Luis Leon Sanchez isn't riding.
Prologue H2H
6 units Samuel Sanchez over Luis Leon Sanchez @ $2.25 4 units Horner over Mangel @ $1.85 5 units Van Garderen over Coppel @ $1.85 3 units Gretsch over Ovechkin @ $1.83
Race H2H
5 units Horner over L.L Sanchez @ $1.60 4 units Soler over Szmyd @ $2.25 - Soler was climbing with the best not that long ago. Szmyd worked a heavy Giro. It might be a risk going against Szmyd for that reason, but the guy did a lot of work. Should be feeling the pinch. Soler, on the otherhand, is an attacking rider who will be fresh.
4 units Van Garderen over Samoilau @ $2 - Again, this is probably a risk fading a guy that did the Giro, but Van Garderen looked good working for Rogers in California. He is going to be one of the HTC leaders and he can ride a better prologue and chrono than Samoilau. The guy can climb and he has nothing to lose for going all out here. He won't be in the Tour de France roster.
4 units Di Gregorio over Moinard @ $2.10 - Again, I'm fading someone that did the Giro. Di Gregorio, needs to put in a great performance here if he is to be selected in the TDF. He has more to gain than Moinard.
3 units Horner over Moreau x Menchov over Brajkovic @ $2.19 - Horner is in good form and is a good chance of winning this. Menchov could win this if he has the legs. He did well in Romandie and this race is a lot tougher and he should be too strong for Brajkovic, who will be working for Zubeldia and Horner.
I'm looking at Coppel over Millar @ $1.85, but not taking it at the moment. Millar can time trial and prologue, but Coppel should be too strong in the mountains. Millar is dreaming if he can win the Dauphine, which he thinks he can.

The bets in bold will be refunds as Danielson, Roulston and LL Cool didn't start. I won't get away with it unfortunately.

2 units Bennati @ $6 1 unit Boasson-Hagen @ $9 4 units Bennati top 3 @ $2
Looking at one of the Saxo's to place. Haedo or Cooke. Sounds like they are riding for Cooke. Both at 3.50 and 5.50 respectively. Looking at this field, you would think one of them will get there, but which one?

6 units Szmyd over Cataldo @ $1.85 - Cataldo had a crash yesterday and struggled. I can't see him being with Szmyd at the top considering the injuries he sustained to his leg. He'll feel it today. Szmyd has got to feel confident of a stage win after his work in the Giro.
4 units Le Mevel over Taaramae @ $1.60 - Gotto go with the Frenchman here.
4 units Van Garderen over Peraud x Van den Broeck over Millar @ $2.25 - Millar was climbing well not long ago, but Van den Broeck will want to do something here. Peraud has said he is taking it easy and Columbia will defend Van Garderen's position. He can climb, see Circuito Montanes, the top Amatuer race in the world last year for reference.
2 units Sanchez over Contador @ $3 - Contador isn't going for the win here.
3 units Taaramae over Knees @ $2
