settle in for some "world series classics" from the early 80's fellas cos there aint no cricket up here today

Game must be started 5 hours after the scheduled start or it's abandoned.

So, if the match was scheduled to start at 2:15, then 7:15 is as late as they will go. Even then it would be a 20 over game.

Couldn't believe the Bulls. To turn the ball over with 4 seconds to go in a tied game? Stuns me that these bums get paid millions...

NBA wagering = find the money trail & player motivation on that night.

I've got a few friends who work in the high-end restaurants in the Detroit area and when the players come in to face the Pistons for the Playoffs, you wouldn't believe what shit they are up to on a night before the game.  Those assholes don't give a shit.

When Indiana came into Detroit to face the Pistons one year for the Playoffs, for a pivotal elimination game (for Indiana), one of my buddies noticed their second-best player at the time in the bar/restuarant with a few girls eating and drinking.  So, he told his manager if he could give him free booze to get him messed up well done.  Manager, being a Pistons fan, agreed.  They fed him alcohol well past 1 a.m. and he needed help out of the restaurant.  He called me up and told me to pound the Pistons and any props I could get against that Indiana player.

Dude scored 6 points (or so) and Indiana got tanked.

HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHA!

Go ahead, cap that!  NBA is thugball.

what a fucken joke, what a bitch team the mavericks are.
 
that's at least the dozenth dog i've backed this season that's led a match outright for 47 mins and blown the win AND the cover SOMEHOW in the final seconds
 
and yet i'm "0-for" in terms of being on the right end of one of these   finishes.

yeah, i meant mine as a follow up to your post  

the final 3 or 4 mins, even the final 45 seconds of a lot of these games are a joke in terms of screwing the unscrewable play.
