FRC Final: Bushrangers v Bulls

Howdy AB.  The Vics can cope with the loss of Nannes, but Harwood is vital to their chances of success in this match.  If he is in, I believe the Vics bowling attack will be too much for the Bulls, especially if they bat like they did on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, Noffke is out for the Bulls and he is a big loss.  Symonds is in, and imo I feel that is negative for the Bulls as it is likely to mean that Perren is left out.  Symonds won't bowl, and he'll probably get no more than 20-30 runs.

With Hussey and White back in the lineup (not impressive at National level but should fire here) I'm going to back the Bushrangers.  Batting first will be a large advantage though.

The Vics are on their game today, a sharp runout of Carseldine and the Bulls are at 3 for 24 and look to Roy for a big innings...

Harwood is getting severe pace and has taken 2 wickets.

Predictably impatient, Symonds is out for 23.  Never know AB, the Bulls did bowl the Vics out for 90 odd the other night, but you'd have to say anything less than 200 will be a walk in the park for the Bushrangers.

Turned my car radio off and put the ipod on when the vics were within 30 or so with plenty of balls left and three wickets in hand and sounded like they'd steadied.

Geez AB, that must've strained every fibre of your being spending the last half a day rooting for a Queenslander to win ?

I mean don't all Novocastrians still walk around wearing those "Wally Busters" t-shirts from 1988 ?!
