Agreeing,,,just like the Detroit Lions,,,all paid to lose while being lovable
You're being childish with your questions.
Saying Vegas" is just a generality of there being a body in charge of games outcomes.
Yes, we all know Vegas is a drop in the bucket of national gambling profit.
Movies are in fact propaganda/truth hints/ influencers of your thought process and reality.

The corporations that take bets on these games operate independently of each other. One bookmaker may take a sizeable bet on a game that would put them in need of team A to win. At the same time, another bookmaker may need team B to win. That's why it is so comical to collectively refer to a body in charge of outcomes. The sports books are separate entities. They are not affiliated with one another and often have different needs to show profitability for a particular game. It's ludicrous to think that there are people deciding the outcomes based on where the money is. A run of the mill baseball game like the subject matter in this thread, gets about 1% of the action of a thinly bet NFL game. To think that they are directing players to swing at bad pitches so that one team will win is absurd, especially considering the small amount of money that is involved. Casinos are corporations that are run much the same way as any other corporation. The sports book is but one component of the corporation. The house does not cheat on any games. They simply don't have to cheat in order to win.

You're going in pointless circles. I already said ,it's a generality.
No where did I say they decide the outcomes.
But the fact is most of them lean in the same direction with their odds. Some one or more people do some form of insider bet/trading.
Someone obviously knows.
