Yeah good job calling the Tigers game Axion. They seem to be dominating the 36ers big time. They will run away with the game I think..

Yeah it's not the best league to watch sometimes. Perth are a good team, it was tight last time these 2 teams played 9 days ago until the 4Q when Perth took over and won the quarter by 12 points. Hopefully that happens again. 

You watching it through firstrowsports?

I use streamhunter, fewer ads that way. What is annoying is that there is a delay between the stream and actual game. Everything will be decided in the 4Q. Not feeling good about that bet: the Kings are really busting their butts, forcing turnovers and outrebounding Perth. I do not see a big gap in the skill level between the two teams and it is then always dangerous to bet against the wounded (winless) team. They can just outhustle the opponent.

Perth up by 5 now.. Hope they can keep this lead... Been a very good contest throughout the game.. 

What do you compare the quality of the Aussie B'Ball with? Whats it similar to?

Tough to judge by one game. I mean there are some decent players out there, but honestly it is pretty subpar to e.g. the Euroleague. Have there been any interleague matches between Aussie teams and e.g. European teams ?

The lead is 8 pts now with ~6 mins left, but it really does not mean much in basketball.

Not too sure. I don't think there has been any games between and Aussie team vs European teams.. Not that I can remember..

This is crazy. Kings scoreless after 5 mins in the 4Q. 

Great call Axion on Melbourne (K-mart) Tigers. They are up by 11 with 7 mins to go. My bet is pretty much done but great call by you..

Great call, Aussie. Happy you want 2-1 and I went 1-0. Very low scoring 4Q helped your under a lot. I'll post something in our usual thread.

Yeah, once I saw the name Kmart Tigers, I knew that was not a team I would want to mess with. I was a little surprised the line on Perth was so soft: they have not lost to Sydney in 4 years. Not that it was a blowout by any means.

Man, what a crazy 4Q. Kings were hopeless but that worked out well for me

NZ vs 36ers. After today's result for the 36ers, would lean heavily on NZ but will depend on the lines obviously..

LOL. Sure is true.. It was 131 points after 3Q time. I thought the under was gone but somehow, the Kings didn't score a point until the last 1.30 mins. Then ended up with 7 but such an unbelievable 4Q..

Hey all, for anyone out there that enjoys my plays and analysis, I have decided to move all my plays to the WNBA forum. Me and a couple of guys discuss our plays over there and always just talk sports. No BS. No negativity of junk. Had a great year betting on the WNBA and will use that as my way of telling you guys my plays for all sports that I bet on. Just easier that way to keep all my plays under one forum + the WNBA forum is quiet now since the season has finished.

Just realised that this was a dumb idea to move my plays from this forum across to the WNBA forum because not many Aussie bettors go on the WNBA forum and I always like to get your opinions on Aussie B'Ball... Will be sticking around here....

Hey guys,

BOL this week, jumping on this play early.

Season: 9-7-1
ATS: 5-6-1
Totals: 4-1

 NZ Breakers vs Adelaide 36ers: NZ -5.5

Adelaide does not play well in NZ. In the last 8 meetings in NZ, the Breakers have covered this -5.5 spread every single time, yep, 8-0. The 36ers have only got to within 8 points back in 2009. NZ need to step up for this game as they are on the bottom of the table. I expect this to be a massive game for the Breakers..

Early days yet Davo... They aren't playing their best though. What is happening to them? Why are they so bad right now? At the start of the comp, the books had them as fav's with Perth..

Townsville Crocs vs Sydney Kings: over 167.5 

Going the over in this game because I think Sydney will bring it to the Crocs tonight. Both home games so far for the Crocs have gone over 178 and 195. The Crocs have only made 3 blocks in 3 games so far this season. I think this will be a fast paced match with not many shots being contested from either team. Due to Crocs bad defense, I think both teams can hit 84+ points in this game for the over to occur

Perth Wildcats vs Wollongong Hawks: Hawks +9.5
Last time I went the Hawks +9.5 they lost by more than that in NZ. First game of the season. For some reason though I like the Hawks to at least get within 5 points tonight of the Wildcats. Perth have been in fine form but they have also struggled at time in some games. They only covered against Sydney twice this year because of terrible 4Q's from the Kings. I think this spread is to much and I think the Hawks will cover it.. I actually think there might be an upset on the cards tonight but not willing to put cash on it. Just think that the Wildcats are due for a loss soon. Hawks have never played well in Perth but either had Adelaide in NZ and that changed last night..

That import for the Hawks is the biggest moron I have ever seen. He has had 3 uncontested layups including a break away fast break and tried to dunk it and he missed...

How embarrassing.....Only in the NBL.....

And now he had an unmarked man in the corner, no pressure on him , just had to throw a simple pass a couple of feet away and he throws it no where near him and straight into the crowd.......

This is the NBL mate...It is a dying sport in Aus......Every year there is reports of teams in financial trouble. You put a rubbish product on the court with rubbish players and that's what happens.
