The fox game on Wed night is the only game of interest to me. There is no doubt that the Dragons have under-achieved with the squad that they have on paper. All talk this week in the Dragons camp is the need to step up the D and play with more urgency after 2 pissed poor road performances against the Breakers (allowing 104 pts) & the Taipans (allowing 125 pts). Dragons in a must win situation here if they are to have hopes of making the top 8.
Blaze are sitting pretty on 5th spot with 9 wins from 16 games and with Hawkings, Crowe & Harvey in career best form.
The Dragons poor form & inconsistency makes this line appealing in favour of the dogs. Hendrix has shown that he can put up the numbers if he can stay out of foul trouble and Groves, Ingles & Hammer can all light it up from the perimeter when they're on song. Burston showing signs of his old form. This team can match it blow for blow with the best of them when push comes to shove sans Tigers, Kings etc. Coupled with the desperation factor, I'm going against the grain with this pick and take:
