can't understand why so many guys have given up on the NBL.
I know I don't post my action, so have no real proof, but this season (after a slow start) is actually shaping up as one of my better ones thus far.
For me it's just been a case of going with the flow, ie the fact that so far this season games have predominantly gone "UNDER" the set total.
I agree the lines have been a lot sharper this season, but there's still some value to be found.
Cairns and Dragons home games - all bar two (combined) have gone UNDER. And until the books dare to venture into the 170's with their set #' 's I see no reason why this train should stop.
Breakers totals are still being set too high on many occasions as well. Particularly their home games.
If you're going to bet an over in this league this season, bet it first half, first quarter or don't bother. The scoring in so many games this season just sags in the second half.
Just pick a nice matchup where the total is a touch high (according to your capping), bet the under and wait for the ineffitable 35 point quarter. I reckon you'll win more than you lose.
