Pakistan have been playing some tremendous cricket in the past weeks and even though their batting was on the edge once, their bowling is spectacular and this wicket should play to their advantages nicely.
New Zealand have been playing well so far, but they have not been tested yet and this will be a tough reality check. Furthermore, they have been playing poorly against Pakistan in the series they had before this tournament and there is not much that has changed since then. Certainly, nothing has changed in the favor of New Zealand.
Meanwhile, the Pakistani team has got into a good and solid form, so I can definitely see them continuing with that here. They will surely be able to restrict New Zealand to a good total and their batting should be good enough to see them through in the end.
The odds are not great, but I think the chances of Pakistan winning at these odds considering everything regarding this game are even with the Kiwis, so I am happy to back NZ at +140. New Zealand are simply worth a shot in every aspect.
