There's probably little point finishing 6th, you would have to win 3 sudden-death semi's - all away from home, to make the GF. Highly unlikely.

The extra two days rest mean that skipper Matt Thompson is fit to play.

Insignificant fact: The Jets have now qualified for 4 finals series in the 5 A-League seasons, a feat only Sydney FC can match.

Well, from a completely unbiased viewpoint, it would appear to me that one team has everything to play for, and the other has fuck all to play for.
