Couple of loud noises were heard near the stadium. Apparently originated in Generator room. Not sure, though. The players were asked to get back to the dressing room for ten minutes and now they are back. Toss has been delayed. Nothing is really confirmed about the origin of the incident.

I already have Chennai outright pending so not going to play the second SF. Will be on Bangalore in the 1st one though, Mumbai resting Malinga for over a week was a stupid decision. The guy is a rhythm bowler and he will most likely come out rusty now.
Bangalore are loaded with big match players, think it will be one and done for Mumbai similar to the top teams in last year's SF's

I don;t mean to hijack your thread Rod, so feel free to boot me out. I just think starting a new one at this point would be silly.

Wow, Mumbai's last 5 overs were amazing. Really turned the match into a chase that Bangalore would struggle to reach. Before then, it was a toss-up. I guess it was only a matter of time with that batting line-up. Mumbai's bowling array is also special and truly gets overshadowed by their hitting, IMO.
OK, like I said before, I came on this thread because I was tipping IPL for fun and ended up 7 from 8, only loss on a coin toss (Royals v Punjab, came up Punjab, Royals won). None of these games are posted though, as I was just doing tips, not wagering, seeing what kind of a feel I could get for the IPL.
Finally put money on it with Mumbai today and now at 8 from last 9.
REALLY feeling Deccan tomorrow. Think they pull it out. They are on offer at around $2.10. Chennai are set favorites.
I know Rod is on Chennai and likes them to go all the way. How about anyone else? Should I say to hell with it, go with what has gotten me this far, or to wait, and just take Mumbai in the Final against whoever wins? HAHAHA!
Thanks in advance for any advice you have!

Chennai turned it on in the final overs and Mumbai didn't have a good enough start to counter that, even though they were exactly even after 14.
And what was with saving Pollard with only 3 overs left? The man was a monster! He faced 10 balls, I repeat, a mere 10 balls, knocked 27 runs (3 fours, 2 sixes included). The man would have crushed Chennai had he'd been given more time to work. Poor decision making there.
And of course the dropped catches by Mumbai late in the 1st Innings didn't do them any favors.
And that's why you play the game!
Looking forward to IPL4!

Great job on the call, Rod.

Just looked back at the scorecard. Raina put up about 40 runs AFTER the easy catch was dropped by Mumbai. That was about the difference as who knows what would had happened if that easy catch was made.

What is everyone's thoughts on the T20 WC? Lots of intriguing possibilities, but $15.00 on the Windies for the Win and $5.67 for them to reach the Finals look too big.
