Question

Anyone who saw Games 1 &amp; 2 of the Dragons/Crocs series would have seen the obvious weaknesses that the Dragons had on the offensive side on the floor when decent defence was applied.Granted the Dragons are deep &amp; quite athletic yet experience and playoff savyness will come to play this evening.For tonight at least i see Westover and his henchmen having the upper hand &amp; take game 1Melbourne Tigers 1unit

still has shades of last year, where kings/goorjian dominated the tigers in the regular season and when the tigers were looking like going out in the grand final series, they had something had something extra and pulled out the win in game 5. i think the the fact that the dragons had to play one game extra will come in handy for the tigers as the series plans out.

Have to agree with you Rod, the Tigers have been unbelievably inconsistent this year. Their offensive execution at times is reminiscent of a school yard game, plus Anstey's 'injury' might be more then the media & punters are led to believe. Goorjian was able to get his players to rise out of their slumps of 3 separate occasions this tonight. Westover aside from occasional swearing rants seemed a little clueless when it can to tactics.

South has certainly been the most consistent team all year long, you've got to fancy them claim the title from here. Yet this 08/09 season has been anything but easy to predict, so god only knows.
