This is a joke right? Why is he in the squad for the Boxing day test? Does he even bowl regularly with NSW???

He has the occasion Warnish type ball but yes he is very expensive. You would not play him against India or Sri Lanka unless you wanting to be chasing 720 runs an innings. I guess the selectors think he will improve with age.

NSW Bias.

Quite simple....

If you want to play for Australia, or be considered, play for NSW and look like you can do something when you can't.

If you can play a dozen first class games and show something, even small, they will select you.

If you play for another state and you do the same thing, you won't get noticed.

Warnie does not sound to convinced does he. Always the way when we lose a player, who wil be the next McGrath, who will be the next Gillie. As much as I think Warnie is a tosser he was a great bowler and Smithy will not be a Warne.
