Excellent another season !!!!
 
Allow me to do the now obligatory and yearly complaint -> Fix the fucking AFL.COM.AU site you useless fucks. Even on ADSL 2+ it takes forever to load AND stop trying to fucking charge us 'Telstra like' prices for everything too.
 
Two games on thursday.
 
Blues v Tigers: Fev in trouble again so this game has been suspended. Not much more to offer there not sure how much of an impact Judd will have first game. Maybe they will get a good start due to a new coach as well. Expecting big things from O'halpin, Betts and other 2-3 year players.
 
Cats v Power: Andrew Demetriou cat's in a tough opener and continuing the tradition of grand final replays in the first round of recent years. Probably not betting head to head or line but with both these teams will be looking at the OU and taking the OVER on anything under 194.

Just saw this on afl.com.au "Geelong edged out the Power as the highest scoring team in 2007 and Cornes predicted a shoot-out on Thursday night."

Yep well cats got over 160 points in one of the NAB cup games and that was with only half their premiership side.

Gman got a cats fan in the office. He is looking at a bloodbath too. Hate Port and their coach so I hope the Cats kill them again.

Miracle no numbers posted yet for the OU. Any of the Australian books. I only know of bet365 from the overseas books that has OU.

I hate Williams as well and was very happy with the pummeling we gave them in the grand final, was nice to flog them again this NAB cup game but didn't care so much about that. 

Ecoute, please post a list of O/U books you can find.  I know the sportstab has them sometimes.

Gman I only know / use these ones. The first three are the real value ones, ie, have differing totals to each other by 2-6 points. The others usually have the same numbers by experience.

I did well personally in totals last year but didn't post them for my friends because not enough books have totals.

Thanks Guys...I'll have to look into the 'books' mentioned, I'm only set-up with Sportingbet & Centrebet.  Any thoughts on 'Sportsbook', they look like having a very wide range selection of betting options on many sports, both here and oversea's.

Miracle don't go with Sportsbook in my opinion. Service is crap...... basically run by a bunch of grumpy old men. The odds aren't great and their withdraw options aren't great, ie, withdraw only to the account you paid in from. Also they get shitty with you if you withdraw large amounts and more than once a week. I had them threaten to close my account because of that.
 
Go with the three up the top that I mentioned or at least the first two. Even though Sportstab might pay out 5 cents less in the dollar there is always a variation of > 2 points on a total.
 
Sportsacumen is similar and offers other great plays like +24 and +39.5 points if you like those kind of plays. They also have good prop options which showmethemoney like to play and has a good track record on. Stuff line head to head posessions.
 
Both Sportstab and Sportsacumen historically speaking get their totals up faster than the other books also.

No Ridds there are totals at a number of places. Have a look at my links. Sportstab might not be having OU this year only combo bets.
 
Guys Line / Total bet for the AAMI game might be a good as two bets;
 
Cats -9.5 / OVER 185.5
Port +9.5 / UNDER 185.5
 
You have to be fucking joking that Port and Cats won't score. Even with Cats D................... keep smoking that shit books

Ridds they are a little different at each book, eg, centrebet has totals (3 options) in a scoring range. Nothing wrong with sportsacumen. Open an account I think they have an opening bonus at the moment.
