Really liking the Dons to put away Collingwood to start the ANZAC day weekend. &#xD;&#xA; &#xD;&#xA;Hopefully Lloyd starts ripping chunks of grass out of the turf after last weekend poor effort.&#xD;&#xA; &#xD;&#xA;Love watching these games the atmosphere and right at the end of the anthem when the siren goes off you can&#x27;t beat it.&#xD;&#xA; &#xD;&#xA;Waiting for the teams to be announced before making a play.&#xD;&#xA; &#xD;&#xA;ps. Anyone else hear that cryptic statement from the Dons coach during an ABC interview about how he realised that they needed to play more defensively but felt the players weren&#x27;t at that stage of development ?    &lt;------- Does that means the Dons are going to slam on the breaks and fuck up those peoples taking overs one coming weekend ?

The dons haven&#x27;t really swayed from their original gameplan throughout the first 5 rounds, I don&#x27;t think, of out running anybody. Even when they have been way down. I expect them to continue, for now.&#xD;&#xA; &#xD;&#xA;Its games like Fridays match I kinda wished I barracked for one of those teams, just because of the atmosphere and occasion

Heard Davey is out with a knee injury. I would suggest he is not far off their most valuable player:

ESSENDON could lose midfielder Alwyn Davey for the rest of the AFL season with a knee injury.

Davey will undergo scans on Monday after hurting himself at training earlier today.

The Bombers will not speculate publicly on the injury, but privately they are worried it could mean a knee reconstruction.

Football manager David Calthorpe was quoted on the club website as saying they were "quite concerned" about Davey's injury.

Essendon are in the midst of a shocking run with injury so far this season.
