Ok, Record is 4-1.The one loss came in the Tassie Vic game where i chose Tas but missed it.....Then i took a small specy stab on Vic.....
Bet was only a qtr of the size of my normal bet so while it is a loss, it really isnt.....
Anyways, today is one master blaster against another master blaster.....
SA are really interesting......Lets have a look
They did really really well last season and made the final...A big reason was Tait......He was in stunning form last season.....A big wicket taker....IMO, he was 50% of the reason why they did so well........He aint playing tonight, in fact, he has been terrible coming back from injury......
Also they had Afridi, who IMO is up there with Gayle and Pollard, in fact prpbably more of an asset as he is a fantastic T20 bowler....He aint there also.....
Also, Dan Harris had a great year, never heard of him prior to last season.....He will average out......
WA is definitly the pick here......But i will say this....lets wait for the toss....
Batting second is a curse in this competition.......
The 2 teams that have won batting second have 1 thing in common.....They won the toss and sent the opposition in cause it was raining the whole day and the wicket was under cover causing it to sweat......
We saw on both those occassions, the ball moving sharply causing early wickets and it was game over.....Then when the opp went to bat in the second dig, the wicket flattened out and improved.....
BUT, if the conditions are perfect, the team batting second hasnt got any where near the opposition....
Its like 1 run batting first equals 2 to the opposition batting second.....
Lets wait for the toss......
