The scorchers were the luckiest team in all of the big bash last season and it appears this luck is correcting itself. First Mitch Marsh went down, now it looks like their best bat Shaun Marsh is out tonight. That batting lineup is now easily the weakest in all of the tournament. I will say though, it looks like the Scorchers get Alfonso Thomas, who is probably the 2nd best 2020 bowler in the world, you can even make an argument that he is the best. The scorchers bowling looks ok, however, it seems that teams are starting to pick Hoggy, he got hit pretty hard last game, so interesting to see how he goes tonight.
The stars are fully fully fully fully loaded. They lost last week, but i expect to bounce back. $1.60 is way too short.
This will be an in game bet. If the scorchers bat first, might wait for the stars to get to $1.90 odd before i hit them.
If the stars bat first, might wait for an in gamer. I cant see the stars losing the scorchers, their batting is just way way to thin.

on the stars big at -156 or 1.64 like you said batting is thin for the scorchers and dont rate there bowlers too much, the 4 overs from alfonso wont be enough to contain the stars strong batting line up. I expect Malinga, Bird and Mckay to all have strong games and i am sure warney will be keen for a better perfomance then his last.

yes but teams are different this year, the marsh brothers are a big loss i see no fire power outside gibbs for the scorchers, where the stars have wright hodge and hussey who could all fire, and if they can see alfonso off i cant see to much from there other bowlers.

probably do the same, might have a small wager pre game though as i'm pretty convinced they'll win and don't want to come out with nothing to show for it
