Have taken a bit of a bath the last 2 games...The thing is, the bet was over after 1 hr into the games.....Teams simply not turning up. I wont back the thunder again i dont think. They arent first class standard. The captaincy is beyond bad.
1st over, you open with Gayle (off spinner) bowling to 2 right handers with no one on the on side in the 30 metre circle where the ball is spinning towards...I have a funny feeling a few of the players for the thunder betted on the Strikers...Wouldnt surprise me.
Anyways onto tonight. Sixers copped a pasting last Sunday. They are still a good team. Narine conceeded 14 runs from his 4 overs with NO scoreboard pressure. Gibbs, Marsh and North had NO F###ING idea, and this with them trying to block the ball. I could only imagine what he will be like with scoreboard pressure. He could have easily had 4 wickets.
Mendis also will be tricky, he is a leggy and is deceptive. Binga is always solid and Feldman looks ok.
Wonder if Maddinson is back.
The stars are full of stars. However, really , it comes down to Malinga. I dont know why teams just dont play him straight, dont try and hit him accross the line. Bite the bullet, play straight and try and milk him for 20 runs, even if its all singles, so be it...
Sixers at $2.35 are great value....No wright for the stars and no Jackson Bird.
