what an effort from gayle!! gutted for him, kuwhaja and nannes. they're surrounded by crap although gayles batting didn't help but boy how well did he bowl...i reckon whatever haddin said to him has him fired up, he will fire with the bat next game.

Just got back from the game. 1st BBL game, pretty good experience. Good crowd of 20k+, alot younger crowd and some real talent..... Their were dancers, music after every ball etc. Really good.

The game ended up being pretty good, i was going to walk out after the Thunder were 4-25.

Let me say, The Thunder arent too bad, however, there are 2 players that have no business being on a t20 field.

Chris ROgers to T20 cricket is what tits on a bull are, absolutely no point. He is an awful t20 player, simply sucks up too many balls at the start and every tme he tries flair shot, he gets out. Its not his game, why they choose and make him captain is beyond belief. Give Gayle the captaincy and take Rogers out.

Another is Sean Abbott. The guy is absolutely rubbish. Because he swung hard one time and connected means he is a good player? He has no technique with the bat, no composure and plays so many awful shots. His bowling is even worse. He just kept on bowling half trackers and Hughes just went on the back foot and crunched him for 6 every time.

Get rid of those 2 and i guarantee you they will start winning games.....

The 6ers wont win another game this year, and the Thunder persist with those 2 wont win either.

Sixers as dire as the Thunder. But they are missing basically their frontline pace attack from the one played in the champs league. That kid Hughes played pretty well tonight
