ESPN Classic served it up LIVE here in the States for 4 and a half hours of beauty. All the pregame and postgame shenanigans as well.
First, hats off the ESPN for really getting the job done. Impressive. Next time, tell the Aussies to get the HD going and I wanna watch the bloody thing in HD!
Second, hats off to the AFL for a wonderful Grand Final match. What a barn-burner with some amazing plays, missed opportunities, goal judge flubs, and ass-busting for 120 minutes of football. With 10 minutes left and the scores level, I was more nervous than either coach I reckon! What tension and delivery!
Bravo to the AFL for doing it right.
The NRL is light years behind.....
