I couldn't agree more, because the adjustments made to the odds are much more clearer in my eyes when considering these smaller markets compared to the major four sports groups over here.
I don't necessarily follow each league religiously, there's a handful of leagues I cap that I haven't watched a single second of their play. But, I'm aware of more than an average mind would be about who's playing where and which teams are outliers and so forth. Generally speaking, I just know how to single out triggered adjustments and not let myself fall in love with a play rather understanding whether a line's an over reaction or a trap line when produced by the lines makers.
There really isn't an answer other than experience and knowing where your strengths are and mine fall into 2nd half plays more times than none. Hope that helped or I could break it down further if you have any examples or need help with anything.
