One more round to end the regular season then we move on to the playoffs. Can't wait.
Saturday
Brisbane Bullets @ Sydney Kings Over 172
Both teams trying to avoid the wooden spoon. Bullets proving that they can win without their star import Buford and big man Jervis as they ran the Hawks out of the gym on Thurs. I expect coach Lemanis will loosen the reigns again her by not getting his players to junk up the D and play a free flowing type of game that will suit the Kings right down to a tee.

Adelaide playing for the number 2 spot and home court advantage whilst Hawks are out of the playoffs. These two teams met over a fortnight ago on a home and away b2b matches and the total scores for 1H were 109 and 115 and the final scores 202 & 205. Adelaide won both matches scoring 112 in each of those games, they were relentless in attack and their roster depth prove too much for the Hawks.
Win today and Adelaide can pretty much lock in that number 2 spot and they will be in full attack mode from kickoff.

Lucky to get the push on the over yesterday, bookie's lines are damn sharp.
Sunday play coming up for the last game
Completely agree D-Play.. We need to chat on a regular basis buddy. Even if we just have one thread between ourselves running. Only you and I post on covers regarding the NBL. The lines are so super sharp. Friday with Melbourne vs NZ. The line was Melbourne -5.5 and total 173.5. Then Melbourne covers with 10 seconds to go and wins by 6 and the total just scraps in. The total line in that Kings vs Bullets game was so crazy. Never really went higher than 172.5 and lands on 172 with a late 3 going in from Sydney.
If the line is below 170 for their re-match this weekend, I will be all over that total. One poor quarter from Brisbane in that game helped me with the under but I don't see them doing that again at home in front of their home crowd.
Rumours also circulating that Beveridge will be gone soon. After this poor season, Hawks CEO wants to shake things up next season apparently. Hawks eyeing off Lemanis which does not make any sense at all because its the complete opposite of how they play but anyways, its a long off-season and lets see what happens.
Do you cap any other leagues mate?
This season's NBL championship is very tough but I do like what I see out of Joey Wright and the 36ers. Perth hot and cold and their offense horrible at times. NZ with the travel and possibly no home court advantage will struggle on the road IMHO and Melbourne have been playing well of late but I feel as though they have caught teams in vulnerable positions throughout the season and have had a pretty easy schedule when it comes to travel and being at home for quite sometime.. Leaning 36ers to win it all and might make a future bet on them at $3.60 with Sportsbet.
