Brisbane Bullets +4.5 @ Sydney Kings
7th v 8th on the ladder & both are desperate for the win here.
Kings have injury concerns to Ellis & Blanchfield who are both game time decisions. They are looking better offensively with Randle running the point but overall this team is still a work in progress.
Bullets have been very competitive lately & are due for a win on the road. They are 0-5 on the road with an avg losing margin of 7 points. This team went to Adelaide two weeks ago and pushed them all the way before losing in a 1 point heart breaker. They then came home and beat up on the high flying Breakers and on Thursday went to NZ and gave them all they could handle before going down by 7 points. The game was a lot closer than the margin here as the Bullets were very competitive throughout.
Coach Lemanis deserves a lot of credit for their recent turnaround in form and their commitment to the zone D have kept them in with a chance to win games.
I really like the Bullets chance of causing an upset here & will gladly take the points. Will also take a stab at ML @ 2.61 for some value. But wait for the news on both Ellis and Blanchfield and if either one takes the court or both, the odds will surely go up which I'm more than happy to take.
