I'm curious to see what you guys consider a bad beat.

Prob 12-14 years ago now.mm.Had a nice parlay winner...I thought 

Miami vs NO

Needed Jimmy Graham to get more receptions that Brian Hartline

Jimmy had 7, Brian had 4 with 2 mins left in a blowout if I remember correctly

Miami gets ball and Hartline catches 3 passes in 3 or 4 plays in garbage time to fuck my payday

Don't count a win til the final whistle 

And yes we only remember the losers...

This year I survived streak survivor with the KC blocked FG in the kc/den game...so it goes both ways

Had bengals moneyline for 4k. Had Denver plus 3' for 5k.  Bengals trying for a 33 yard field goal for me to hit everything.  The guy misses. Smh. The worst part of it he had the nerve to hit 4 goals against pitt last night. It was a 10500k swing .  From being positive 9k to losing 1500.00.  

I will not be doing this so close to week 18 NFK kickoff, not a day to attract bad juju

Picked Barkley (Large) to score a touchdown in a game he did not score a TD.

My experiment is working. 

2015 Super Bowl, had a ton on the Seahawks. All they had to do was give it to Marshawn Lynch on second down to punch in the game-winning touchdown against the Patriots, but yet genius Pete Carroll calls an over the middle pass, which gets deflected and intercepted, will never forget

Soo many i cant remember don’t know if you called us a bad beat but I’ve bet on the sorry ass Buffalo Bills at home -15 money line 1400 to win 250 and they lost the fucking game

The experiment is seeing how many people understand what constitutes an actual bad beat. So far most of them don't know.

The Patriots were laying three, not five, but yes, bad beat.

I had bet a $100 across the board in a turf race at Belmont on a horse that went off at 99-1 in a 12 horse field 3 years ago. He won by 3 lengths.

3 minutes later he was disqualified and placed last.

Needless to say, I was pissed

I agree.

A bad beat is multiple bad events that had to happen for you to lose.  It isnt a kick going wide.  It isnt a 3 pointer at the buzzer.

It is 10 high odds plays or events that had to happen for you to lose.

I have had lots of bad beats over the years but here's the most recent one from last nights game. I had a 1000 on Cincy -2 1/2 and a live wager with Pitt + 5 1/2 for 250. I was looking to middle with Cincy up 19-14 late in the fourth with Pitt punting. THEN knucklehead Cincy player on punt return decides to be in a dire/ct line with the punt returner and boots the ball!  Pitt recovers and subsequently makes a 55 yd field goal. Final score 19-17. I went from winning 1250 to losing 750

Some might consider clicking on this thread a bad beat
