NBL Round 9

Gonna start with the over 185.5 in Cairns. 

My main concern is how Cairns did the trick on the Wildcats... they beat United but I expect United to step up. I expect United to score 100 most games and Prather just helps that. 

I like NZ. Hawks had a good game. I'm betting they can't do that twice in a row.

The cats and kings should cover... leaving that Bullets SEM game alone.

Prather back is just icing on the cake for Melbourne, its now or never for them to really go nuts. Going for their 7th win tonight, I am not playing the game because I would want to see how he fits back into the rotation but Cairns might be in for a long night.

I didn't pick Melbourne to have a 13 point 3rd quarter. That killed my over but it still ended at 179. 

I doubled up and grabbed the over 181.5 at half time. I saw value at the 3rd quarter over 172.5 but didn't want to over extend. 

I'm going max bet on NZ -4.5. If I get this one wrong, I'm off the boil and need a break. On paper, NZ at home is a MUCH stronger team. Hawks shot 54% from the field and 53% from 3. No team should lose doing that but it went to overtime. Webster to shut down the 18yo. Breakers by 12.

Good games on today. Like the Brissy SEM game, they don’t have value picks. 

United at Kings will be a good game but with united losing and home court, you gotta lean to Sydney. Total is about right with a lean to over... but it all depends on the United team that show up. That 13 point 3Q in Cairns obviously stuck in my mind.

36ers at Cats will be interesting because Sunday games in Perth are usually unders with Perth clamping down. I think Johnson has a good game but the cats win. There’s not much value in -7.5.

Will be looking at live betting.

For what it's worth, I'm expecting Sydney to win but I don't like the line. If Melbourne get off to a good start or Sydney start slow, I'll be looking to get Sydney at even money or the total at 175.

I want to punt on Sydney but trying to keep with the plan. If Sydney get off to a good start, I'm likely to only be a spectator.

That teaches me for not jumping on Sydney before the game. I outsmarted myself.

Over for the 2H. 115 in the first half. 93.5 is realistic for the second half and with lots of players in foul trouble, I expect quick tempo and soft defence.

I grabbed Daniel Johnson O27.5 PRA and am looking for live betting... nothing big. Want to keep the profit for the day.

Perth looks average. Randle is controlling the game. I wouldn't be putting money on them today. It's going to be a close game.

Adelaide too far ahead to predict. 

With DJ on 17 points and 6 rebounds, I'll stick with that small likely win.
