Week 1 out of they way for the NBL, Week 1 is about to begin for the ladies. After watching all the NBL games last weekend, I was really impressed with Brisbane out of all the teams. They were very solid, play smart basketball and just did the easy things correctly. The letdown, the Taipans again. They were cruising in that game and then exploded in the 4Q and allowed the Kings to win and cover the line. Maybe another long season for them. The new team, the SE Phoenix will be a force this season, Creek is primed and ready to go hard. He wants another shot at the NBA. Believe he will get that chance after a possible MVP season in the NBL. Melo was fun to watch, the kid has talent but not sure why Brooks started on the bench. Bit strange there from the Hawks coach.

No games across both leagues until Friday night, capping the NBL now. Back soon.

Thanks Kriscar... This season I think will be better as the talent seems to be a lot better. Just try and stay away from Cairns ATS, they are so mediocre at times.

Glad you stayed around full season KVS.. The Mystics won today and deserved to win the title. Props to EDD for a MVP season.

Yes for me its all about the season, not mini streaks. But the general people on covers look to go with the guys on hot streaks and then once the streak is over, they look for the next person on a streak. Sometimes that doesn't work well.

Peekay, retrospectively I made a bad decision backing a young 18 year old heading into the Jungle on a Friday night in front of a packed house. Cotton was on fire, the Cats were just grabbing offensive rebounds all night long and it wasn't even close after the 1Q. Hawks and Taipans looking horrendous in the first 2 weeks.

Nice to see you again Buckleys, been a while mate. Hope you have been well. The over looked dead almost with around 3 mins to go back you got a bit of luck and that is what is needed in sports betting. Nice hit mate..

Aussie boomers or spirit?

I'm usually around but don't post much. I unfortunately missed most of the WNBA but I saw your great run at the end... my only interest is following you guys so I miss games regularly. I typically stick to basketball, NFL and AFL. 

There was some easy money with the World Cup due to inflated lines. No one cares enough after the 4 tries (Bonus point) to put teams away by 60 points. They care more about avoiding injuries than embarrassing another nation.

NBL will be tricky until these imports find their feet. I'm seeing the trend to overs until a couple of weeks in but they aren't easy to read.
