I have many dreams. One of them is to get head from a high class German escort while going 140+ on the autobahn. Another is to travel the US attending one NFL game a week while spending a long weekend in that particular city.
Unfortunately, I’m not going to be accomplishing one of these dreams this year because I’m not there yet financially. But let’s say I was going to attend one NFL game a week this year; what games would I attend?
A few rules before I begin. I’m limiting myself to visiting a particular stadium only once and not seeing a particular team more than three times (unless it’s my Patriots). One of the objectives of this road trip would be for me to see many of the marquee stadiums and go to as many of the better American cities as possible. That means there is no rush to see Jacksonville. Other than that, I have complete freedom to choose what games I want to go to: it’s not one of those road-trips that hits every team or stadium
Week 1: Pittsburgh Steelers vs New England Patriots
Gillette Stadium, Foxboro, MA
This is the obvious place to start my road trip; my favorite team raising their banner on a beautiful September night. What’s better than that?
Week 2: Seattle Seahawks vs Green Bay Packers
Lambeau Field, Green Bay, WI
Green Bay might not be anything to see, but Lambeau Field is certainly a sports landmark. I’d love to bang out the Frozen Tundra earlier in my trip before…well, before it gets frozen.
