So the WNBL has arranged for all 8 teams to play out of three venues in North Queensland because they have done so well with the Virus and they are going to allow a certain amount of people to the games as well.
We still have a few border restrictions in Australia so the teams could not travel between cities/states hence why they have created this bubble environment. Also there are no international players this year which is a bummer but also gives the youngsters a chance to shine. We still have great talent on the floor with players like Cambage, Leilani Mitchell, Stephanie Talbot, Kelsey Griffin, Marianna Tolo, Ezi Magbegor and a few others. A lot of the girls have played in the WNBA before so the experience is there. The team that should win this IMHO is the Southside Flyers. They are completely stacked and have a very good coach. If they dont win 90% of their games during the quick reg season, then they have serious problems.
Format So each team plays 14 games, the season starts tonight. The Final will be played on 22 December, so we have around 6 weeks of action. Each team has taken in 10 senior players, and 2 development players.
So basically we get 2-3 games each day with a few rest days here and there but it should be a pretty full on 6 weeks.
Lines are out now, and moved quickly.
Canberra Capitals -8.5 vs Adelaide Lightning and 158.5
Townsville Fire -2.5 vs Perth Lynx and 157.5
Doesn't appear to be any injuries as the ladies have been in the bubble now for 2 weeks and some are posting what it is like in the bubble.
Back soon with a play.

Sooo I was going to play the Capitals thinking that they would be full strength but just saw that they are missing 3 players, all of them are key players but I don’t trust Adelaide as they have 5 debutants tonight. So won’t play the first game. Don’t understand how those 3 players are out tonight considering they are in the bubble the past 10 days.

Flyers were -5.5 and now one of my books has -9.5 and the other -6.5 but juiced.
Bendigo come into this season with very little experience and were blown away by 42 the other night and also 50 and 20+ in their two preseason games in the bubble. Sydney take on Flyers tomorrow on a B2B and if Sydney wants to win games, they need to take care of business today

These lines are crazy. Some moment since opening
Sydney were -6.5 and now Ladbrokes has -10.5

Cambage played 8 mins but that didn’t matter, the rest of the Flyers played well. Flames just ran out of gas.
the next game is very tricky because Perth looked horrendous in their first game and the Lightning won in OT against a very depleted Capitals team so although Lightning looked ok, their opposition was missing 3 key players that night.
The line seems about right and I don’t want to play any totals because the Lynx just can’t score. Might not play this game and wait for injury news on the Capitals game

Ok so Capitals still have their injury concerns other Tupaea, Smart and Griffin still out and Ruef looks to be playing but she sprained her ankle last game. Heavy lean towards the Fire now with Capitals so depleted

@koypikz Sure did mate, 99-72 final score. During the weekends here in Oz the games usually start a little earlier and then back to night games during the week
I didn't set my alarm knowing you would only play the last game. Nice hit mate. Waiting for your last pick
