Ok so I mentioned before, there is no NBL action this weekend... But the WNBL has announced that this round is a "Cluster" Round, meaning that the league, sponsors and television rights (FOX Sports) have advised that 4 games from this round will all be played at the one location in favour of a charity so thats an awesome cause.
The 4 games are:
Saturday:
Capitals vs Spirit
Rangers vs Adelaide
Sunday:
Lynx vs Fire
Boomers vs Flames.
So those Sunday games should be amazing with the biggest 4 teams in the league going at it..
There is actually 2 games though this Thursday which 2 teams will have home court advantage. Those 2 games are:
Boomers @ Fire
Lynx @ Rangers
So then after these games, Fire have to fly down to Melbourne and the Lynx will make the drive which is no biggy. Both teams play again on Sunday.
Waiting for some lines but that Boomers @ Fire game should be an absolute gem of a game..
BOL this weekend everyone

Yeah thats a no play now Kriscar.. Can't lay -9.5. I was hoping that the books would be a little slow with their lines but they werent this time around. Melbourne can be competitive in this game still as long as O'Hea plays which she will. Eyes on the other game instead now

The Rangers the other day were laying -11 to Bendigo. Is there really a 16.5 point difference in the spread between Perth and Bendigo? Don't think so IMHO. Rangers fighting to stay in touch of the top 4. They are missing one of the Blicavs which is a big loss for them but they were playing very well against Bendigo. The Lynx playing their third game is just 6 days. They played on 17th and then 19th and now 23rd and that is starting off in Bendigo, returning home for Sydney and then now back to Victoria to play Dandenong. Will take the home dog in this game.

Dandenong just don't have that go to person down the stretch.. Held a nice 47-43 lead to then allow a 13-4 run which allowed the Lynx back in the game and then Lynx dominated 4Q.. Moving on..

The Capitals have given up 80+ in their last 6 games.. The Spirit have given up 80 points or more in their last 4 games since Griffin (team captain) went down with an injury. With this being on Fox Sports as well with good TV coverage and the promotion of Aussie Women's basketball, I think we see a high scoring game. They did play earlier this season and hit 173 but Bendigo did have Griffin so their attack has died down a bit but they still have some good US Imports and so do Canberra.

Bendigo Spirit vs Canberra Capitals: Over 150.5

Adelaide Lightning vs Dandenong Rangers: Over 146.5
So the Rangers had a meeting after their woeful loss the other night vs the Lynx collapsing midway through the 3Q and their offense just disappeared and the Lynx ran away with the game. The last game between these 2 was just a fortnight ago and Adelaide won 69-63. They meet just a week before that as well and the score hit 156 in reg time before going to OT. The last game which only had 132 points, the bookies had that total hovering around 150.5 mark and went under by a good 18 points. The first meeting, total was around 148.5 and went over and hit 156 like i mentioned before. Now we get the lowest total of the series so far this season yet the Rangers are asking themselves to shoot better and run the offense better because they landed just 3/21 three pointers on Thursday night.

Yep, something isn't right with this Rangers team and I agree, they are the worst in the league right now. Missing one of the Blicavs is bigger than I expected. Will be cautious betting their games from now on..
1-1 on the night...
Tomorrow just the 2 games to close out the weekend and then Thursday night we have the NBL back which I cannot wait..

Wow, iam curious about the coach's reaction coz this is awful
I am not sure he will have much of a reaction because apparently he did after Thursday Nights game and then they come out and score 49 points. Averaging just a bit less than 12.5 points per quarter in a 40 minute game is just awful. Thats translated to just 59 points if it was a 48 minute game..
