Daniel Barbier (December 10, 1907 – April 1, 1965) was a French astronomer.
Between 1930 and 1965 he published nearly 100 scientific papers on astronomy. Among his works were studies of stellar atmospheres and lunar occultations and eclipses. He performed studies of the upper atmosphere, Aurora Borealis, the zodiacal light and the night airglow.
The Barbier crater on the Moon was named after him.
I mean come on guys. He has a crater on the Moon named after him. This is a far cry from employee of the month. I'm just amazed that he has the ability to even find time to cap games with this kind of clout....He studies lunar occultations
