Note: The line here in Vegas is 4 but I see off-shore it is at 4½ so go ahead and buy the hook.  4 is a key number and you never want to get beat by the hook.

I know you do not like to play 2 plays...But when i saw the lines for Saturday this game KanSt -4 and Baylor -4 jumped out at me (call me Big 12 Biased) but these teams just seem to matchup well against their opponents, your thoughts?

Mries,

    I've seen Baylor play several times this year and they are extremely athletic.  A lot more athletic than Notre Dame.  They should give Old Dominion problems.  The reason I'm laying off is they have not played particularly well in their last two games against Sam Houston State and Kansas State.  But I agree it looks like the right play.  However, it's not as strong as Kansas State.  Therefore, I am only going to play them.  Hope that helps...Let me know if you any other questions.  Good luck everybody!

Awesome insight...good to know.  Judging from your last few posts I figured KSt was the best value play and I love the pick, big guys should really hurt BYU.  I appreciate the response on Baylor and the picks!

can anyone answer this  question we had a 180 people in a bracket pool I did four sheets what percentage do I have to win the pool?

Brother--u got real lucky wrt the mormons; double ot saved you there b/c of nba bound fredette (what a player!!); you are wrong on this kst pick (the better team no doubt but big matchup problem here) b/c in the end too much fredette and the other streaky guard they got) lot will be surprised when byu moves on here.

YEP! GOOD PLAY! VEGAS! LIKING BAYLOR  ALSO! But the last games you put out if you remember, I stated they BOTH looked like winners, and the worst one could go ins 1-1, which was BYU winner and ND MY a nickel play on both for me, lost $50! But, I was on ND from the first I saw the line on ND, and that SHOULD have been TWO WINNERS ifHarangody would have showed up, and got half his season average of 17.6 pts a game!  Thanks for the info VEGAS! Of course I am going to look at it up and down. Those two plays, Kansas, and Baylor "May", be my NICKEL plays! BOL PG

I love K-State tomorow, I think it's one of the top plays of the day whether you get it at 4 or 5. Unlike the rest of the people in this thread I actually like ODU over Baylor. I think Baylor struggles against teams that can slow it down, and ODU is one of few teams that matches up well against Udoh.

Ya I really hate Luke Harangody right now.  He f'ed us.  But we will get it back tonight with K State.  I truly believe we are on the right side of this game and that's what it's all about...Being on the right side of games more times than not.  Lets get em PG!  Good luck if you do decide to go with Baylor as well...

YES! I will but not sure if a normal wager at a dollar or a nickel!  Well said, Haran(GOATY) is not my favorite person right now either! He cost me a grand! I just accidentally saw the CONCENSUS, I hate that! I always go to matchups, and on my monitor I have to scroll over to see lines, but Baylor and KSTATE are TOP CONCENSUS! But with that said, sometimes we as acollective group are right<LOL>! Like Today hopefully! Later!

I like the play, further study required of course,it is just when I step up to a nickel on a game, " I USUALLY", like two, so need be one can cancel out a loss! Whats your thoughts on that, or maoney mangement , yours, ? I friend requested you VEGAS:) Drop me a line on my thread! I went 7-3 yesterday, after the worst day since latter feb, at 2-7 on Thursday! Playing with house money, but in reality ITS MY MONEY, and I have it spent mentally <LOL>! Again BOL! PG

Buckeye, ODU is going to slow this game down and take Baylor out of rhythm, will this play a factor?  Baylor has 2 big men down low they can go to....does this not pose a bigger matchup disadvantage to ODU?

Just stirring up some thoughts, not trying to hijack your thread. :)
