Hacker-Pschorr  and Paulaner are some of my favorite German beers.

When it’s hot out and I’m doing yard work, the lighter abv beers are good too, Corona and Coors Light.

Maybe after I retire I could help you a couple times a week moving that beer.  I’m thinking this could be my dream job as long as you are driving!

I have a contrarian play at Wrigley Field tonight.  Brewers and Cubs have their aces on the mound, Burnes and Steele respectively.  O/U set at 7.  It seems like in a showdown of ace pitching, one pitcher usually ends up getting rocked.

Hopefully, that holds true tonight.  Over 7 at even money.  7 runs is a push, 8 runs is a winner.

Betcha didn't know the original reason why limes were added to a bottle of Corona ay?

Well, when they first started making this beer in Mexico and shipping it, there was a problem with their caps. They didn't hold a strong enough seal, and the caps would rust. So the limes acidity would clear the rust from the tip of the bottle. 

Somewhere down the line it became a thing to have a Corona with a lime.

Do people really squeeze the lime into their beer or just throw it away.  Next thing you know people will be putting pineapple on their pizza.

 yessir had no idea....they do taste better in a bottle with a lime imo...

They had a shortage of bottles during covid and couldn't get bottles around here for a while....they are odd-ball size/shape compared to most NA bottles
