You have to be careful tailing people blindly. alien absolutely romped this year, never seen a run like it in the college bowls. But still a lot of lemmings fell off the cliff when he had 5 star 49ers which I thought was a horrendous pick and would have lost even if Purdy didn't get hurt - rookie QBs don't get to the SB and the first one to do it wasn't gonna be one who has to face the top pass rush in the NFL on the road.

Terrible analysis. What’s the sample size of rookie QBs in a championship game? Give me a break. You should retire before you lose your shirt.

Van, yes it's only a 5 game sample size but when you dive into those 5 matchups there is a ton of common themes in how those teams matched up and how those games played out. It is a huge stage, the biggest stage those rookies had ever played on up to that point.
Why just completely dismiss it? In the vast array of capping tools, it may hold little weight but to just say "ignore it and move on" is questionable to me.
