&#xA; &#xA;So right HS.  But Rome is no dummy.  He created a schtick that sold to a target market.  The fact that most either follow or hate him is what he wanted.&#xA;And the Everett scene?  Years later, Rome was interviewed and asked if he staged it.  His smile as he answered answered everything.  ""Chrissie" is still getting gifts and Christmas Cards (and likely some kind of under the table royalty) to this day.

I am not saying that he hasn&#x27;t been smart about bilking the public and developing a following of robotic morons. He has done that quite well and gotten rich in the process. For me (and I am saying this in regards to me) he does ABSOLUTELY nothing for me. The reality is that he provides nothing that is going to make me any money. Sports is nothing more (for me) than an avenue to make money.

Sports have not been a &#x27;hobby&#x27; for me for over 2 decades. You will never make money at wagering on sports with that attitude and I have not had a &#x27;normal&#x27; job in quite some time

I&#x2019;m serious bud....what&#x2019;s the goal? In literally two weeks you&#x2019;ve become the new covers clown. And for me to say that with some of the dingleberries that flood this forum....that&#x2019;s saying a lot chief. I got an idea: You should start a thread talking about how you&#x2019;ve worked hard and how you&#x2019;ve overcome obstacle after obstacle to become the head clown of the covers circus. I never liked Rome or his schtick. I think Cowherd is by far the best in the business and nobody is close. Grew up on Francessa and Russo, they were fantastic to listen to also. One guy that I can handle once in a while is Arni Spanier. Freddie Coleman is solid also.
