I only look at Div I teams.  Last year I was overseas and didn't watch cfb.  I would just look at the scores of the ridiculous upsets every week and wonder what the hell was going on. The year before i was probably over 60 percent but didn't keep track.  I hit 17 in a row during about a 4 week span pretty early in the season.  I have another thread with my picks for week 1. I am posting picks here.

Florida is going to score an absurd amount of pts. Their offensive line is great and they have the two top skill players in the country! They also have a fast defense that will create points. With miami down again this year their non conference schedule is easy.  They could get close to 50 ppg.

I looked at florida georgia matchup again. UF has 7 sophmores and zero seniors starting on dfense.  They one of the top 5 youngest in country and they have lost 4 safeties b4 1st game!

 

 Do you mean the 7 sophomores and zero seniors are fast? I will be watching this system closely.

Fla beats Ga this year. Don't know what train wreck UGA will be at this point, so make it an ML play. Forget the points. Gators have an off wk and then a tune up against KY before Jax. Tebow loses last year because he is so beat up, but he will be a regular at the Gainesville spa before the cocktail party so that won't be the issue this year. UGA has TN, Vandy (which they normally lose to or struggle against) and then AT LSU. C'mon, no way Ga beats gators. 
 
Ga will roll on Ga Southern and Central Michigan and be a min 5 point favorite against So Carolina who will have beaten NC State and Vandy soundly on the field but not on the scoreboard. Spurrier will have a plan for the win and the D will rock. Ga wins in Columbia, but does not cover. That is an early prediction. MGM - what sayeth you?

Yes florida has a young defense but a fast and talented defense which will create turnovers. What is so hard for you to understand. I like south carolina this year. That spread will be at least uga -7.  I don't think south carolina matches up well with uga because uga has great running game and usc was poor vs the run.  They should be much better on d obviously this year but they also have a young qb which is not good early in season vs great uga d.  If it was later in year i would lean to usc but early i would take uga to cover. I love usc vs ncst wk 1. ncst very bad d.

I see Wisconsin winning the Big 10.....having Penn st and Ohio st playing night games at camp randall will be a huge advantage. This team has a great defense and can put up points in bunches with Hill and Smith at running back and Beckum will be a machine this year and a future top 10 draft pick next april. What do you think?

MGM ---How about the MAC conference?.. I love to follow these teams - they are money makers for me. Which teams will be the best and should be betting on??

East: Miami (OH) ; Bowling Green ......??

West: Central Michgan; or Ball State .....???

Wisconsin is loaded on defense and may go back to 08 and 06 form when they gave up 12 and 15 points per game. Offensively their running game will be lights out again. Their line is huge and talented and they have great backs.  The qb is a mjor problem. Everidge can move a little bit but avg qb. Fresno St is going to be a tough road game for them week 3.  I think Ohio St is the best team in the big ten and they should win it.  Osu one of best teams on paper i have seen in awhile.
 
The mac is a fun conference.  BGSU by far the best team in the east. I like temple to be decent ats.  The west is tougher than the east.  I like Central, western, ball st, and northern illinois. I think niu is going to be good ats and they should cover at minnesota. Nate Davis is a stud.  Ball St has one of nations best offense but a medioce d. Western is going to be good on D but down offensively. Central has a ridiculous offense but they are very young on both sides of the ball. 
 
Toledo is going to be one of the worst teams in the country. Buffalo is going to be great on offense very bad on d.  ohio u middle of the road team. Akron is one of worst defensive teams in country and i think wisc beats them by 50 wk 1. Kent St horrible team but better on d than last year. Miami is decent team but too young on offense to be in contention.

is it true big ten teams have the smallest weiners in the locker room, big east, neac, niaa, acc, sec, pac 10, sunbelt. conference usa, maac, then penn state very last

Could you please give me your take on my TCU Horned Frogs this year.  We usually follow up a down year (8-5 last year) with a strong year..ex 2004 5-6 2005 11-1 MWC champs.

Oregon is going to be pretty tough as usual.  I have to look at their schedule but I think they will win vs wash week 1.  If I had to pick a side ats i would take oregon -14 but their are better games on the board for me. 
 
Tcu is going to be nasty on defense.  I really like Tcu's team this year. I heard they lose Massey which is a devastating loss because they aren't great at wr position.  They have a tough game at new mexico who also has a good d. I have to look at their schedule also but they are a team I wouldn't pick against ats and I will take them ats when they have a good matchup.  I think they will cover the 5 at new mexico week 1.

meGreatnessme....You said McNeese will not have a good band like FAMU this year?? WTF . You speak as if McNeese is an all black university. I am alumni and it is not a school who gives a shit about the band. We will whip some ass, and I say we, cuz I played there too.

Jake locker is going to have to byob (be your own blocker). He has an awful line lost his 1300 yd rb and the top 4 wr's. Thats what he gets for signing to play for Willingham.  I see Wash winning 0 or 1 games this year. If the over under for season wins was 2 I would take the under.
