I remember going to the Boston Garden with Dad to watch a Celtics/76ers game. Somehow we ended up in the tunnels leading to the locker rooms. Dad took Kodak film shots of me with Havlicek and Steve Kuberski, and one with Dr. J and Caldwell Jones. I was always stunned at how tall Jones was. I still have the faded picture.

1980.....

Closest I came was meeting Jack Sikma.  He was a center for a bad Milwaukee Bucks.  He was standing in line with me, waiting to wager on a greyhound race.  I was a lot younger than now.  He owned a kennel.  I asked him if he’d be interested in a free throw contest.  He said he was pretty sure he’d do better than gambling on the dogs!

  Saw Lakers @ San Diego Rockets and felt same way when first laid eyes on Wilt. I kinda stared at him in warm-ups and he kinda stared back.

Saw Karl Malone up close 15 feet away.....Wizards  game...Damn guy was huge...

That’s was a tough game to watch . That game should have sailed over . You ever met Terry Cummings ? Such a muscular bald fellow . He really stood out during that NBA time frame . Or smooth as hell Ricky Pierce ? Guy was an assassin on his best nights . What’s your take on Big Dog Robinson ? He never reached his full potential in my opinion . I had more confidence in that sweet lefty Michael Redd during crunch time . Ya dig ?

Microwave Johnson was a bull SG....

The microwave had some motherfuckin’ guns on him with that portly little body causing mass destruction when he would start to feel it . Straight killer . Teams had better depth back then with legit players on the bench that could do damage . With more teams comes more players and I feel that it’s watered down now . Or it used to be watered down . Cuz the more that I look at the NBA product now with teams going ultra young , besides a few stars and superstars here and there , it’s difficult to see a difference sometimes between the starting 5 and the bench . The only difference sometimes is who gets the opportunities and the playing time . It’s all potential .

NFL Steelers -3.  Getty tail.  Line movement agrees.

Duke -6.5 vs Wake Forest.  Duke is still a tough football team.

They are terrible on defense...Gafford out doesnt help....

Was in grocery store and saw a 4 pack of Hanks Root Beer. Has anyone ever drank this, i like a good root beer now and then.
