Florida reports 28,317 new COVID-19 cases, 120 deaths, 13,614 hospitalizations Monday

When Florida set its COVID-19 pandemic record for current hospitalizations in a report released Tuesday morning, it did so by blasting by 14,000 all the way past 15,000, according to statistics from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.

HHS reported 15,169 inpatient beds in use for COVID-19, an increase of 1,192 from Monday’s report. And that statistical leap came from 231 hospitals, 20 fewer than were reporting to HHS the previous day. So the average number of COVID-19 patients per hospital shot from 55.7 to 65.7.

That represents 27.6% of the hospital patients in those 231 hospitals. Nationally, 10.1% of patients are hospitalized for COVID.

Intensive care units reported a congruent increase, of 225 patients to 3,060. That’s 47.2% of those hospitals’ ICU beds, compared to 21.3% across the United States.

Also, there are 73,300 beds in use for COVID-19 in the U.S., meaning Florida accounts for 20.7% of the nation’s COVID hospital patients. The state has 17.9% of the country’s 17,140 COVID patients in ICU beds.

Fraid not my friend. The CDC WRONGFULLY reported Florida as 28,317. The number for Sunday was 15,319. The CDC says they will change the mistake.

Fact; Florida was bad last year in late July and early August as was the rest of the South. Their season to get it.

Fact; Taking Florida's numbers out of the equation the United States has just about double the covid cases from Aug 1st to Aug 10th as last year at the same time.  I'm not blaming anyone, delta much more transmisable.

Fact; The young are now driving the cases up with the delta variant.

Opinion; When school starts all hell will break loose across the U.S., vaxed or not. Masks or not.

Fact; Iceland has 60% of new cases coming from 71.5% of the vaccinated population.

Fact; Israel reports Phizer vaccine is 39% effective at stopping infection. Israel reports 9% of the population is unvaxed who previously had covid yet make up only 1% of current positive cases. 

Fact; Vaccinated are being hospitalized for covid. Vaccinated have died from covid and more will die. Still a much less chance for those vaxed.

Fact; Vaccine greatly reduces your chances are being hospitalized and dying.

Fact; There are side effects from vaccine although they are very far and few between, short term. Long term, no data. Unlikely long term issues.

Opinion; Our CDC and govt. have not at all been transparant. COVID struck the vaccinated at Capital Hill and absolutely NO INFORMATION came out. How many??  CDC kept showing 99% of cases/hospitalizations/deaths were unvaxed, data from months ago before delta. They knew what was happening in UK, Israel, Iceland, and purposely misreported to keep vaccination rates going.

Iceland has over 90% of ADULT population vaccinated. CDC WARNS do not travel there even if you are vaccinated. What conculsions can you draw from that?? 

They attack those who are unvaccinated and didn't vote for them and ignored the reluctance of the african-american and hispanic populations to get vaccinated. They totally ignore those with immunities from previous infections. Looking at it from a "science" viewpoint, what would be better? A vaccination card or a "certified immunity card" ?? Just because you have the vaccine doesn't mean you delevoped immunities. And it's all a MUTE POINT anyways. The vaccine DOES NOT prevent infection anymore. Immunity doesn't prevent infection. Having that card only means you have a lessor chance of infection, your still vulnerable. 

This bullshit that unvaxed Americans will cause deadly mutations. There are 8 billion people on this planet, less than 200 million unvaxed here in the states. Far greater unvaxed around the world. Some vaxed with Chinese vaccine, India concocted their own, Russia has Sputnik vaccine. Chance are any mutation will come from overseas, as it already has.

The CDC (center for disease creation and propaganda) has been caught once again spreading lies, misinformation and propaganda. The Florida Dept of Health fact-checked their incorrect reporting of 28,317 cases for a single day in Florida and found it to be BS.

This just goes to show that D-Up will Parrott any MSM propaganda he can in order to spread fake news to get his troll coin.

This has been going on since the start of the pandemic...

Nearly impossible for an accurate number of new data EVERYDAY by 8pm ..

I've been tracking as much data as possible since last March...The daily numbers are usually adjusted with 48 hours ...Here in Ny the numbers are usually fairly close , with adjusted data only changing 20-50 cases per day , either added or subtracted  ...At the height of the pandemic here those numbers were often off by 150-450 cases per day ..

The new daily cases , hospitalizations,  and deaths data  is usually adjusted within 48 hours of its orginal posting in most states  ..Nearly impossible that they can get an accurate numbers by 7-8 pm everyday ( in that time zone )

 Hey Dub just fyi, Florida only reports their numbers weekly.  Once per week, not daily.  This changed back on June 4th.
