Lamar J. threw 10 TD passes in the 3 games when Bateman was healthy. That's 3 more than he has thrown in the other 8 games without him.
Queue Jalen Ramsey's business decision to tweak his back in the very near future.

I'm seeing an incredibly intense game, might be one of the best of the year. It would be difficult to top Bills and Vikings though. I think I had 5 separate heart attacks during that one.
On another note...
Who wants to bet Texans ML with me? 25 bucks? Why not? The Browns are pulling a QB who is 6th in dvoa, 7th in qbr, 5th in ALEX, 10th in epa/cpoe. He's shockingly 4th in rush dvoa amongst qb's. Gains 5.74 yards per carry.
If it ain't broke don't fix it. Even if you paid for it.
Thoughts?

Tua's pressure rate jumps from 27% to 51% without LT Terron Armstead. Armstead is on the wrong side of questionable this week. Backup Brandon Shell will be tasked with blocking Nick Bosa.

The only game of the week which projects to an easy over is Jacksonville/Detroit. Both teams are above average scoring and pace while the defenses are below average in pressure rate and coverage. Only a stubborn run centric offensive plan by both teams would sabotage it. Cyrax ?

Spread moved to 7...who in their right mind is betting on Denver now on this look ahead?
KC should be spent and probably won't take Houston seriously.

Inside job by the Yankees btw, check the mlb forum, a Hot Stove thread has been made.
Speaking of the Rams, I remember Bill Burr going on a rant about them, when the season was starting, about how they can afford to pay so many guys, so here it is: https://theramswire.usatoday.com/2022/06/09/rams-salary-cap-contracts-stars-afford/
I thought that the Rams are the Dodgers of baseball, but I remembered that the Dodgers at least make the playoffs every year (even the WS), so it looks like that wont be the case for the Rams this year, and they will spend a shit load of money for nothing...
Also, out of curiosity I checked who owns the Rams, welp this guy Kroenke also owns the Denver Nuggets, Colorado Avalanche, Colorado Rapids and Arsenal FC, so this year his teams won the Super Bowl and the Stanley Cup that must be some kind of record... and it's the 2nd time, his teams have won the SB and the Stanley Cup.

Quote from Patrick Peterson:
"Kyler Murray doesn't care about anybody but Kyler Murray"
Remember when the NFC West was considered the best division?
Both the Rams and Cards had other ideas.

Also, why the heck did the Marlins hang on to him for 7 years? That bastard has cost me more $ than any other baseball manager.

NFL: 61-47-7 (+22.79)

Jets +3(-110) *.75/.68
Jets ML(+135) *.50/.67
No, I'm not over reacting to the Mike White hype, you guys know that. Definitely don't feel as strongly about them as last week though.
Let's not forget that the Vikings suck(sorry dj). Fugazi 9-2. The Pats out box scored the Vikings in many ways last week. A bunch of uncharacteristic penalties by NE, 5 of which produced first downs for the Vikings. And a special teams td vs a usually stout NE special teams units.
The Vikings D is pretty bad. Looking at Mac Jones entire season you'd be hard pressed to find a good game until he went to Minnesota. And the Pats ran only 13 times. I don't see how Mike White couldn't do the same, or something close to it. The Jets will surely attempt more runs. And I liked what I saw from the youngster Zonovan White when Michael Carter got hurt(questionable this week). The kid is quick, nice burst. He'll be on turf without rain this Sunday.
Justin Jefferson could be the best WR in the nfl, and proven rather uncoverable. He is Kirk's get out of jail free card. If there's anyone better to cover him, let it be a guy named Sauce. That's my handicap on that, seriously, that's it.
All the nerdy metrics point to the Jets, I won't bore you with those.
+5 pt differential for one team, +34 for the other. One team is leading their division, the other is in 3rd place in theirs.
I don't think I'm over reacting here, the Vikings aren't showing me any reason to be favored here. Unless Mike White completely falls on his face, and I'll live with it.
At least I know that the Jets won games with Zach Wilson, and stayed in games with Zach Wilson. And Zach Wilson is just awful.

I was all over the AFC West being the best division. LV and Denver are already out of the picture and San Diego still has work to do which we can be sure won't get done.
Murray seems like a Russ Wilson clone without the body of work. You're not good until you prove it. Wilson at least had his day in the sun. Murray continues to play in the shadows. It's not like he hasn't been given a supporting cast. He has them.

Shrimp alert! Stanford U. has reached out to Ravens OC Greg Roman to gage his interest in the vacant head coaching position. Roman was an assistant there before joining the 49ers staff.
