Former Eagles QB Ron Jaworski said (with a straight face) 'We have a shot if the defense improves a little'. A little means the Cards get 190 on the ground vs 220

3 weeks ago the Eagles were heavily favored to win the nfc east because of their remaining schedule. They fucked up.
But regardless, they are broken. They gave away too many studs on defense in the off season and thought everything would be fine and dandy

@undermysac
I think the soft schedule they had, in the first half of the season was misleading, and when the big games came their defensive shortcomings were exposed, in a big way.
Now lets see if the Chiefs join them, it would be poetic to see both teams, that were in the SB last year, limping into the playoffs...

Read rams clinched with a win...could do no worse than 7th...whoever wrote that was wrong ...
Rams not lock to rest starters next week if seahawks win

While I am still not a believer in Fields, IMO the Bears are well on their way to turning that franchise around. Lot of good young players on that team.
Huuuuuuuuge draft coming up for them

I understand it, if I understood it at all, that 2 points conversion would've been called back anyways, since there were 3 flags on that play
That's correct.
According to the refs, as well as the rules official who works in the broadcast booth of most NFL games, the Lions lined up illegally on the play.
Also, and anyone can verify this with a quick youtube or twitter search, immediately after the Cowboys INT at about the 2 min warning, on 1st down the Cowboys were called for a 15 yard tripping penalty. Every replay from every angle shows that it was the Lions DE who attempted to trip the RB, and the Cowboys TE who was flagged actually tripped no one. THAT is the blown call in the game which almost cost Dallas the game.
But let's not let the facts get in the way of misplaced anger

Roger Godell suspended the referee crew from officiating the playoffs, today.
For the tripping call on the wrong team, and for not acknowledging #68 who tried to report as eligible. The head ref literally ignored him and ran away from him before the play.
Also, Dan Campbell supposedly talked to the refs before the game making them aware that they may use this package on the goal line.
The crew was just terrible. They seemed to have to huddle and talk about every flag last night.
I'm not against female refs, but that chic ref on that crew always looks lost. She seems intimidating on the field.
Bad look for the nfl.
They need to hire full time refs, make it their sole job, and pay em accordingly. I've been saying this for years.

Thanks for the confirmation
As for facts, unfortunately emotion trumps reason, most of the times, also cognitive dissonance is a helluva drug...
Bengals are trying really hard to keep KC in this game.

I don't want to judge all female refs, but from what I have seen whenever 2 refs don't immediately agree on a call, the female ref always acquiesces to the male ref. Every time. Even when replay shows that the female was right.
With that said, female refs in general, have not been a great addition to the NFL
PS ... 42 quarters and counting since a holding call has been made against anyone blocking Parsons

"PS ... 42 quarters and counting since a holding call has been made against anyone blocking Parsons"
This is absurd at this point. I don't cry fix or anything, so I just want to know why? Is there something about his speed or style that deceives the eye? Or maybe he just doesn't throw and flail his arms like a bitch after a foul.
Also, Fields got roughed up a few times today. No flags in sight. All the kid can do is put his hands in the air and listen to the crowd boo.
Heineke got pushed after a pass, literally a split second after release. He fell over, Bears got flagged.

The tripping penalty. If it was not called, which it should not have been, then the game is over and no one needs to cry about the 2 point play penalty.

I agree, and it's absurd.
The same thing happened to Cam Newton. He would take vicious hits and never get a roughing call.
I assume it's because they are so big.
i'm sure there are those who will claim it's because they are black

Dal -4.5 Indy -4 Mia +3.5, ML NO +2.5, ML Min -1
After a couple years off I started betting again 7 weeks ago.
This is my first losing week, and it took 2 backdoor losses to get me there

I am far from being politically correct ... but given the current political climate I'm not sure I would have posted that video.
It's still funny, though.
Gotta love Borat

The end of that video is filmed in Romania, actually the whole village part of the movie was filmed here, although he did choose a really poor village of gypsies, these are actual people in the video:
