bigred,,,,,,he was outstanding in that senate hearing on hardwood vs. laminate,,,,,
Upon further review and phone calls with my college betting association, they say those #'s are fickle. The sec's power should not be underestimated vs the big10's limp wang.
Also Saban with 20 days to prepare has never lost a divisional playoff game.
And they reminded me of Michigan's #'s with and without their cheater.
With Washington, they say to not underestimate the weakness of the pac12.
Let it be, we will see.

I sort of lean on the over in the MI/AL game. Michigan supposedly will get their points. Bama will be scoring then in order to win. 6 out of Bamas last 6 games have gone over 50 points.

With all the money out there can't Iowa get some offensive talent?

Here's some interesting information. The spread has been largely irrelevant in bowl games for a number of years. In other words, pick the winner. If you're taking a dog, take the ML. You won't need the points. If my tracking is right, before today's action, there have been 36 games played. In the first 28, the spread mattered only once, in the Appalachian St./Miami of Ohio game. Overall, before today's action, 36 games had been played, with the spread mattering in only 3 games; Miami of Ohio, Kentucky and Toledo are the only teams that lost but covered with the points. 17 favorites have won; 16 dogs have won outright; 3 dogs needed points to cover but failed to win the game. I think.
On a completely different note, I'm playing Michigan giving 2 1/2 today and the Michigan ML of +167. I have Washington at +492 to win the national championship.
Good luck to all.

Great candidate, whom I fully support

1 quarter in the books and Mich tied 7-7 with Bama.
I liked Mich all along, but ended up betting Bama at the last minute.
As of this moment I would rather my money be on the Wolverines, who look like the better team thus far

@undermysac
Both the Over and Bama are most likely losers.
But of the 2, I would rather be on the Over because Mich might put up 35 by themselves.

This Alabama defense has not been a strength all year. It's a typically well balanced team but without the game changing studs that we expect to see. Michigan is not out of their element this go around.
NFL next week :
Tennessee +5 no moneyline. Jax survives by a FG.
Indy/Houston Under 47. Playoff atmosphere, young coaches, young players, "don't do anything stupid" attitudes. Bank this one.
Sorry for the interruption, carry on...
