Some thoughts on a few games:

Thursday night NYG @ WFT -3.5

I knda like this Heineken kid, but would much prefer only laying 3 here. Despite last weeks game, the GMen should still have a good defense. Danny Jones continues to be a turnover machine.

N.O. -3.5 @ Car

This line seems short to me. Might have to side with the home squad just because of the line. Perhaps linemakers are expecting Jameis to pull a Jameis in this game

Cin @ Chi -3

This line has bounced around more than a QB playing against Chandler Jones. Not sure what to make of this game, but wanted to add it to the list in honor of all Da Bears fans

LVR @ Pitt -5.5

I would have loved to have faded the Curtain here, but can't back the Biletnikoffs off of that insane MNF game. As dumb as some of that was, it was exciting as hell.

Buff -3.5 @ Mia

I lean Bills here, but believe the Fish will hang in there for a bit. If Bills start 0-2 Imma fly up to NY and pull DoubleUp off the ledge

SF -4 @ Iggles

I hate betting road favs ... but ...

Minn @ Cards -4.5

This line is another short one. Obviously Cards win by 3. Sorry DJBrow

Dal @ LAC -2.5

This line will be 3 come kickoff. RT Collins is out for the Boys, so they will start an inept Terence Steele. Steele vs Bosa, what could possibly go wrong?

KC -4 @ Shrimp

Figured this line would be 2 TD's. I thought the rookie RB for the Shrimp looked good, not sure why they went to Murray. I swear there's not a QB (or punt returner) in the NFL who throws to more wide open receivers than Lamar. Its amazing. Initial lean is on the Shrimp, because I believe they will get their running game going and play keep away. Love the Shrimp even more if Mr All World Jimmy Smith plays. Will rely on Bigred for that update.

Pack will play pick a score in this one. Lions lost their best defender for the season last week. The players suck. The HC sucks. Ownership sucks. The city sucks. They give us this BS game for the Monday Nighter ... not even Peyton and Eli will be able to save this shit show

I lean Indy +4, but need to look further into what happened to them last week. I love Reich, and believe he can get Wentz back to respectable, but wtf happened to their defense???

No opinion on ATL/TB. As I stated in the preseason thread, I feel the Bucs D is overrated, but that offense is special. 12.5 seems like the right number. Should it hit 14 I will be on the Falcons for a small wager

If you think that the Saints-3.5 is light, I starred at Saints-1.5 opener at Betonline for 5 minutes thinking it was a glitch. I decided to bet it, but the # changed to 3 on my betslip.

I'm not buying Sam Darnold's rise from the ashes just yet. The Saints are nearly a complete team, tremendously coached. The only thing they could use is the Shrimp's back up punter.

I will be on the Bears this week, I hate to say it, but I think that it's a layup.

When I stepped in for CD, the picks kinda sucked. The banter was still classless and immature.

We also didnt have many inciteful Cleveland steamer comments from BWS . Things are looking up though

CB Lattimore should be out this week after getting surgery on his thumb today.

 Indy's defense played fine. Other than a circus catch by Lockett that no receiver should be able to make and one blown coverage on another Lockett TD, it was an overall solid effort. Indy's offense looked rusty in the 1st half which makes sense since Wentz missed all the preseason but did catch a rhythm later in the game. Despite the 12 point difference it was statistically a draw. 

I think this is the week's best example of a buy low sell high scenario with the home Colts catching points to the Rams who are already in a tough scheduling spot. LA's winning margin over Chicago was deceptive as well. Not as one sided as one would think.

Colts +4, ML +175. Locked in.
