Mets announced that in tomorrows game 1 vs the Phils they will trot Kodai Senga out to the hill.
Senga, who has pitched in 1 game all year on July 26th, will start the game, but it's doubtful he will be able to go more than an inning or 2

Here is a crazy stat: All teams that have beaten the Brewers in the playoffs have made the World Series:
That is rather odd, although it has no bearing on this season.

Haven't decide yet...
Those overseas games are cluster fucks....generally an automatic under as well...something about the travel that doesn't sit well with teams...could be the bangers and mash as well....
just trying to figure how the Jets will be any different than they have been previously...they are still having a hard time scoring and only putting up 9 points to the Broncos at home is tickling my underbelly...now we are asking them to go overseas and score against a vikes team that has looked rock solid....
I dunno....

@ABooksNightmare
Can't only look at how teams have played ... IMO it's more important to look for games where 1 team is in an obvious flat spot (Vikings) and/or the other team is off an ugly loss but is still talented (Jets)
Minny might blow them out, but this game is a perfect spot for the Jets

@Hugh_Jorgan
If you play looking for a flat spot versus reviewing previous results and a teams current form, then that would be hard to predict and be very unpredictable to the pocket book....are you stating that you think the Jets are a good team and under performing? If so, I think it is the opposite. I don't see them as a good team and they still have two key injuries on the O line and defensive side of the ball unless something changed and I have not seen it...maybe the travel does well for them, but if the thought is that the vikes are due to regress in this spot then that's a tough sell to me...motivation is always key in an overseas game like this, but I think the Jets are who we thought they were and Rodgers isn't going to save the day....
Still up in the air on this one, if I play it at all....line does seem low, but if I had a gun to my head at this moment then I'd prolly just take the under and stay away from the side...

Unless the Mets make the WS.
I dunno, I've always found these type of stats/streaks to be fascinating, probably because of their randomness and span across time.

Boys, crazy day yesterday, hit a pick 3 @ Keeneland that paid well and led to a false sense of security. Everything else, 2 college plays were a no go. Today, I like Mizoo on both +3 and ML wagering and the 1st two baseball games took a unit split in 4 and placed equally on dogs and the unders.So 22$ on each play. Also had to submit Survivor pick for week 5 and took DA BEARS. 23 souls left. Let's have a great day!!Go Tigers, in both sports,

I like Alabama to roll Vanderbilt. Vandy got beat up against Missouri last week. They’re going to have bruises on their bruises today.
Whatever Vandy did to hang with Mizzou, The Tide will have an answer.

I was 5 years old watching the Yankees with my Dad in NYC when Mickey Mantle got his triple crown. Grew up thinking the Yankees would be in the World Series every year. Moved to Boston in '74. Having Alex Rodriguez on your team, watching the Red Sox snare a few and a 15 year drought can be pretty humbling, although my 60 year-old "baby" brother still wears his Yankees jacket to Fenway. I try to avoid the pissing spray he invites, but it's better than having to clean up the dump Red Sox fans deposit on your seats if you leave to get a beer at the same time together. Won't do that again.
