NFL regular season is almost half over. It goes fast.
Trade deadline is today ... I'm hoping to see some activity for an NFL change.
NYJ @ Indy -10.5
The Mike White era has begun. I expect it to last for as long as Zach Wilson is unhealthy. All White did was screw up the Jets drafting order. Indy off of an emotionally devastating loss to the rival Titans, which basically eliminated any realistic chance at the playoffs. This game is impossible to cap. Who knows if Indy shows up. Who knows how Mike White will play.
Hou @ Mia -7
Hou is last in the NFL in point differential at -122. The Phins, who many thought would battle for a playoff spot are 3rd worse at -95. Flores should be fired at the end of the season, and their defense should be ashamed of themselves for their season long lack of effort. This team needs an overhaul, getting Watson won't be enough without some significant other changes. Texans just playing out the string. They are years away from being competitive. AFC South is a sad division.
Den @ Dal -9
McCarthy said that Dak will be a full go at practice this week, so expect him to play barring any setbacks. If he does play that means that bigred's prayers went unanswered. Tough to gauge the mindset of the Broncos the week after they trade their best player.
Minny @ Shrimp -5.5
Uh Oh. Line-maker has put out a number that is begging for Shrimp money. Buyer beware.
NE @ Car +3.5
Who would have thought after week 3 NE would be favored in Car? After a terrible showing in 4 consecutive weeks the Panthers might have turned the corner last week. Mac Jones is pretty good, and they are finally letting him throw the ball beyond 5 yards. Pats will be a tough out down the stretch, but this is not a good spot for them.
Buff @ Getty's +14
yawn
Cle @ Cin -2.5
Most interesting game of the week. Baker did Baker type things last week. OBJ is shot and Landry still not healthy. Bengals off a loss that will sting down the road. That was a typical young team loss. Huge emotional win one week, flat the next. I still think they win that game if not for the atrocious personal foul call on their defense late in that game that kept the ball with the Jets. Raise your hand if you had the Browns in last place at the halfway pole (put your hand down BWS, you prayed for this, you didn't think it would actually happen)
LV @ NYG +3
Does the F U Gruden tour continue for the Raiders? Hard to tell if the GMen played the Chiefs tough last night, or KC just stink. LV off a bye and Gmen on short rest.

Years ago this was a great rivalry and the road team would usually cover, something like 13 out of 14 games. Hard to cap Siemian's game, but maybe the team steps up for him and he doesn't make mistakes. The other thought is that NO is coming off a mini SB for them, so could possibly lay an egg here. I don't think ATL is very good. but Ryan still has his moments and Pitts is a stud, to no ones surprise.
LAC @ Philly +2.5
The shine has come off the Chargers helmets. Herbert hasn't been bad, but not as good as he was previously this season. His receivers have been terrible. Their run D continues to suck. But they get a bad Philly team. I have no idea what to expect here.
GB @ KC +1.5
Status of GB WR's is significant. My initial thought is that Cyrax will like this game. If there's a tough game to cap it is this one, but I'm finding myself being tempted to take the home team at + ML. Haven't had that opportunity with KC in years.
Ari @ SF +2.5
Line maker put out another questionable number here. Everyone and their mother will be on Ari (blinking light bulb)
Tenn @ Rams -7.5
How does Tenny respond losing their stud RB? Rams are on a RAMpage, and now have added Von Miller. I lean the Tannehill's, but have no explanation as to why. I don't believe that the 52 year old RB the Titans signed to replace the King was the right move ... so Peterson will probably rush for 200 yards this week.
Sac's @ Pitt -6.5
The Justin Fields experiment continues. Pitt D shapes up to be a good test for him. I see another 15-10 type Steeler win.

Dak playing means nothing to me..They play in the NFC.... If the Vikes cant beat Carson Wentz's step brother...they wont beat the Ravens 11-1 SU off of a BYE.......
get a new key board or lap top.

OBJ's father posted a video on IG today showing all the times that Baker has missed OBJ when he was open. This should go over well with the players and front office. If OBJ's contract was not a complete albatross, he would be on a new team within a few hours

As per Colin Cowherd, the Colts are "split in the building" about whether to start Wentz or not. Other than the Shrimp defense making him look like the second coming of Unitas, Wentz has pretty much stunk up the field
This is interesting ... The Colts front office has to assume that their playoff hopes have been crushed.
When they traded to get Wentz from the Philly's, the compensation was tied to the % of snaps that Wentz is under center for.
So far Wentz has played 99% of the snaps.
If he plays more than 75% of the plays than Philly gets the Colts 1st rounder.
If he plays less than 75% of the snaps than Philly gets the Colts 2nd rounder.
Indy front office has an incentive to sit Wentz
