The Vikings have had the hardest offseason/preseason

Cowboys with 2 interesting FA signings today to shore up their D line.

They need one more space eater to play the 1 tech, and then this defense will be formidable

Cowboys training camp seeing significantly lower numbers than in seasons past here in Oxnard. Dak is here but Cee Dee is still a ghost....

One thing seems not to have ever changed, U in pre-season.

— There are 32 teams in the NFL; on Rams-Chiefs-49ers-Packers, the head coach is really the offensive coordinator, so that leaves 28 OC’s in the league right now. Of those 28 OC’s, 16 of them are in their current job for the first season in 2024. 

That makes handicapping early season games a lot harder, with so much turnover in the coaching ranks. 17 of 32 defensive coordinators are also in their first year in this job.

I'll be watching to see my new fav (he was last year too - I lied) make a 70+ yard-er. Aubrey, I must admit, scares me when he lines up for the point after try. They should take holding pens on every extra point try to make it longer. Long is good for Aubrey.

As for Dallas, once again it appears the Boys have proven to be the best at drafting O-lineman. Both Guyton (LT) and Beebe (C) have far exceeded expectations thus far. They have been dominant since the first day of camp, and have looked really good in the 2 preseason games.

They still have a hole along the D-line, but the next 2 levels are talented and deep.

This is for #cake ..... CeeDee will be signed well before the 1st game, and Dak will be signed also, eventually

 Saturday was pretty good, Sunday sucked. 3 foot waves, rough waters. Got beat up out there, Lake Michigan is a beast. One of my battery straps broke, found the battery laying on it's side.

Fun times I swear.

 I always bass fish but ran into a bunch of walleyes this trip. Would of been good eating if I kept em.

Starting center is toast before the season begins. This won't be good for a team with an aging qb, and a qb trying to prove that he can play qb in the nfl.

The Steelers win total is at 8.5. In 17 years Mike Tomlin has never finished below .500, a couple years he went 8-8. So do they have enough to crack 9 wins? I'm seeing under 8.5 wins at +110 juice. Who wants to bet that Tomlin won't go .500 in his 18th season, thoughts?

P.S. The Bears season win total still sitting at 8.5, although the juice is up to -160 on the over. 3-0 this preseason plus added exposure with Hardknocks...why wouldn't they right?

In Da Bears last 2 pre season games, the defense has surrendered only 3 fg's. Watching their young backup LB's has been a pleasant surprise. The secondary is full of talent. And I for one am not concerned with their d line like others are. Everyone I talk to seems to think that the Bears need to aquire another DE to compliment Montez Sweat. Those folks are just greedy and it's not likely that happens. 

Coach Eberflus is a defensive dude and this unit is finally coming together. 

Has anyone heard from Getty3?

He usually has a couple posts by this time of year. Hope he's OK, especially after a couple hurricanes going through Florida recently. 

No doubt. Will we get a new playoff Dak?  My only concern. And C D doesn't go like Emmitt's.
