Former Browns GM Mike Lombardi reporting that he expects Kitchens is already a lame duck coach and GM Dorsey may be toast as well. Cleveland thrives on instability. Browns fan "We suck but at least we keep firing all the guys that cause us to suck. I'm good with that and will renew my season tickets once again."

looks like you guys have done well taking over the newsletter this week. one thing i should have clarified is i think there's a difference between teams that have to win playing teams with apparently nothiong to play for vs. games where a team needs to win and is playing a team that is resting players. so, in the first category, you have dallas and philly playing wash and nyg. wash and nyg have nothing to play for, of course, but i'm guessing both teams will play hard as they would love to ruin the season for a division rival. so, i'd avoid philly and dallas unless there's something about them you really like. i'll probably do something with nyg or washington.
in the second category are games like tenn/houston (probably) and pitt/shrimp. those are different as one team needs to win,. or thinks they do, while the other is clearly not intending to be 100%, asuming KC beats the chargers in the early game, and that line has jumped to 9. i'm not taking pitt because i think they are garbage, but i did take Tenn at 5.5 which i think is still available. as someone pointed out, houston is not a deep team and has some key injuries i'm sure they won't want to risk. if KC loses to the chargers, then obviously this bet is in trouble.
i think i'm pretty well caught up now, althoug i missed some good lines so this week might be a disaster. i'll probably take indy given the state of things in jax. sound slike marrone is fginally gone after that game. i see 5.5 there?
what do you guys think about the shrimp? not sure i've bet them this season (or ever) because they are terrible and all but is a second string shrimp team that much worse than this pitt offense on the road? looks like the shrimp are +2. can it go to 3?
anyway, so far:
Tenn -5.5

there's a college football playoff game going on right now where one team is beating the other by like 60 in the first half. what did i tell you about watching this crap? save your energy for a big win to close out the season by the browns tomorrow. momentum for 2020.

is that rain and wind or just rain? if the wind isn't terrible, maybe a shrimp team total over. maybe we'll get 17 once more books open this up.

The Jaguars have 9 draft picks for each of the the next 2 years including 4 first rounders. What could possibly go wrong?
I want to be the GM not the coach. I'll leave that up to Mike McCarthy who already has fully embraced the new NFL by hiring a staff of analytic advisors while he's currently unemployed. I like positive thinking.
Meanwhile, ESPN reports that Marrone has been fired, the Jaguars deny it, but don't say he won't be either. Semantics.
Check out co-owner Tony Kahn's twitter page. The Jags take a backseat to Fulham FC, Jack Whitehall, and most embarrassingly some fake wrestling organization that no one cares about.
I hate this team.

i said i was looking at the giants and/or washington. i see vanzacksports is on the giants so i'll go ahead and just do that. might play washington because i do think that line is too high, but washington is in bad shape and poorly coached so i'm not too excited about that right noe. anyway, here's what i have so far:
Tenn -5.5
NYG +4
Indy -5.5

don't sleep on fulham, currently right in the mix for promotion.
i might play that shrimp team total, since i don't care about rain. if the total has moved down 3 points, that probably moved the shrimp team total from 19 or 18.5 to 17.5 which doesn't help much. hope to see 17 tomorrow.
