The Center for Countering Digital Hate and Anti-Defamation League both said in reports that the volume of hate speech on Twitter has grown dramatically under Musk’s stewardship.

Specifically, the Center for Countering Digital Hate said the daily use of the n-word under Musk is triple the 2022 average and the use of slurs against gay men and trans persons are up 58% and 62%, respectively.

I am not exactly optimisitc about Hamlin's situation.  If there had been some progress, the good news would have been released.

I hope I am wrong and the hospital is just being cautious.

What a joke.  Americans saying whatever they want in a public forum without censorship.  If what they say is stupid, the public is going to surely tell them.  Stupid things don't get a free pass and are put to scrutiny. In the past, only one narrative was allowed - Democrat in mainstream.  The only people offended today is the one's who are unfamiliar with their narrative being challenged.  Truth always prevails which explains why they would be so threatened?  Only 3-5% of US is LBGQhtlmnop.... so why do we really care?  Let them be who they are.  I don't give a flying fuk but I sure don't want to hear about it constantly.  Go Woke... Cardiac arrest and thanks to the medical staff Hamlin will have a road to recovery similar to Christian Erikson.

The jolt to the chest and specifically the heart area most likely caused it

Blacks use the n word far more than other races do. Besides, what you consider hate speech might objectively be deemed the truth by others.

Safer to allow free speech even if some of it offends us/you. I don't want you in charge of what I am allowed to hear. Get it???

@Tedcyclone   Yeah that basic info was coming out, I was just sharing what I was hearing from what I deemed a trusted source. This has all been confirmed now. Yeah the vitals being restored just meant he’s physically alive and nothing more. It’s been a while now and still no concrete positive news as he’s still in critical condition. Hate to speculate but it sure feels grim, but again hoping for the best for the kid. I assume a lot of it will boil down to how long his brain may or may not have lost oxygen for while lying on the field with his heart stopped.

Everyone was running their mouths saying they knew things. The Hamlin family just made a statement a few minutes ago, they didn't give any updates. Yet, people on this website, were acting like they were in the emergency room and knew exactly what was going on. You people are hilarious on this website!!

  It is a disturbing problem with any social media or just internet in general.  I am as guilty as anyone else in just posting something that is completely unnecessary in certain situations.  I feel awful for my children that they will inherit this cesspool.

you're wrong again. No family "spoke person" said anything last night. No one said anything about the situation! Why can't you understand that! If what you said was true, how come ESPN didn't say it? I'm not guilty of posting something that is completely unnecessary. I wasn't trying to give "false"updates last night. People just don't understand. NO ONE KNEW what was going on in the emergency room last night besides the doctors and nurses. "Sources"didn't know, family members didn't know, 'family sources" didn't know.
