Maybe try basing it in reality and looking for something that would actually be good for the country instead of going after the son of a President that you don't like. I'm 100% sure my life won't change because of anything on Hunter's Chromebook, but if they actually keep their promise of working for the people to lower some costs, not waste time on pointless bullshit and at least pretend to try it might help them next time. No one cares about culture wars or laptops, if you haven't learned that already it's too late for you 
Here is a novel idea, try discussing subjects, topics, differences and not make personal insults and divisive, negative digs which break the rules...then threads magically do not get moved.
If you want to draw the correlation then continue the correlation with a certain group of posters break the rules over and over and whine about the consequences after action is taken.

You can justify it all you want, you boxed two of my threads within a short time period because you said YOU thought they weren't discussion worthy. And your precious liberals over there throw insults all the time to supporters in general and do nothing but bump up their post counts by agreeing or just posting handshakes, adding nothing.

Your threads break the rules on a very consistent basis because YOU cannot control yourself. Instead of blaming and shaking your fist at the sky how about be above the behavior of others that you are so angry at?
If you dont like their group threads then leave them alone and stop clicking on them, then their bumping has zero impact on you. The issue isnt thread activity and they are not handshake bumping, they are discussing their points of view that is a big difference.
Maybe if you cannot control yourself and keep the rules you should avoid the threads and posters that make you feel motivated to attack and be combative as you do, that is why your threads are moved, why you get boxed and it is why any member has the potential of the same.
We have tried to suggest so many times that avoiding interaction with members who anger you is the best thing you can do, but it seems a few of you are unable to control yourselves and steer clear of the drama.

You are talking to a brick wall. He knows what he's doing and doesn't care. BWS came in slinging shit, but nothing done. The others sling shit about Trump supporters knowing they are talking about us, but it's allowed. For one I don't have a problem with people talking crap, but if you are going to enforce it, do it fairly. I personally think if you can't run a fair political forum, it should be shut down. I mean what does politics have to do with sports other than maybe passing a bill to make sports legal.

Notice something, it seems a certain group likes to zone in on a single item and form a narrative which fits their agenda...that would be you in this example. We always say that doing certain actions CAN get a thread boxed, CAN get a person suspended. And when a member repeats issues over and over the chances are their history might make it more likely they will have a result versus someone that has no history.
In the end your perspective is biased and incomplete, you are not privy to every post, every thread, every action so your comments are based on your agenda and similar behavior.
The best solution for you, for anyone is avoid situations that put you in a scenario which might get you boxed, try to be above the petty pointless insults and digs, they are not going to bring a positive outcome and increase odds of a bad result. If you cant have a discussion with someone you disagree with then dont be involved!

How many times, say in Global Warning, COVID, and Ukraine thread have I engaged in dialogue and presented alternate facts/opinions only to be ignored with repeated copied posts, BOLD AND ENLARGED praising the person I engaged and avoiding any dialogue and discussion along with slapping the thumbs up button.
And your telling "me" if I can't have a discussion?? Sure I can, having one right now.

The posts, words in question are obvious it is right here and you might not share the perspective because you act similarly and agree with the way certain people communicate and make things personal, petty, negative. This is not my sandbox at all, the rules which the site has in place are to keep positive, interesting, reasonable discussion and to share information. That is the sandbox and while there are many examples of instances where that does not happen, you trying to point to a single item to defend your position does not change the fact that certain types of messages, threads, comments, words make it likely the thread or the member who made the comments to be boxed.
Refer to what I keep saying and follow it, then your issues are gone...poof they no longer exist. If you cannot discuss differences with others and do so in a reasonable way, stop yourself from making the comments. Its ok to disagree its ok to have an alternate opinion but it is not ok when the content breaks the rules and goes against what the purpose for the site is.
Best to avoid bad situations when you cannot control yourself, political discussion is brutal and it can cause for fighting, negative comments and a bad result if the people involved cannot control themselves and stick to topic only discussion. It is so clear and easy to see the members who are able to discuss politics and those who cannot and should not.
Find a GOP conservative blog site and go shake your fist there, at least you wont be breaking rules and having outcomes you disagree with and you can find common people who agree with you and less people who you are attacking and offending with your replies so regularly.

We know the rules here. 90% of threads started in politics are sarcastic or aggressive in nature, including this one. I was obviously reacting to the dems scare tactics during campaigning. We're not gonna change the atmosphere in the politics forum........it is what it is. I think we all know arguing politics is pointless......I'm not gonna change anyone's beliefs any more than they will change mine, no matter how clever the effort is. See you over in CFB......need your thoughts on if Michigan will overlook Illinois tomorrow.
