Southern California 'stay-at-home' lockdown extended indefinitely
Education, housing, employment. Where shall we begin?
You are a complete moron.
You likely think racism in general has vanished because Obama was elected.

“Education” isn’t an example of systemic racism. Joe Biden opposing desegregation might be, but not “education”.
How is “housing” an example of systemic racism?
How is “employment” an example of systemic racism?

Read a book or a journal article on "housing segregation" in the U.S.
Housing segregation is tied to inequalities in the school system.
Do some individual research on how schools are funded. You might actually learn something.
Your ignorance is completely baffling man. Seriously do not speak or debate any race issue further. You are completely idiotic.
Are you unaware of wage gaps in America among minorities? Earnings and wages? Geezus man. Did you graduate from high school?
My goodness. I understand this place is filled with morons, but you easily take the cake.

I know what the “books and articles” say. They’re wrong. That’s why you’re only capable of spouting off generic phrases.
Indians are the highest paid group in America and it’s not even close. Does that prove that there isn’t systemic racism? No (although it’s a significant counter argument). The same way that saying that there is a “wage gap”, or that black people earn less than white people doesn’t prove that there is systemic racism.
The wage gap argument is the lowest iq argument of them all. Implying that higher wages means higher privilege is a joke. You’d be saying that Indians have the most privilege in America and that Indian females have more privilege than white males.
If you had the ability to be a critical thinker (you don’t), and honestly looked at why Indian Americans are the highest earners — family structure, culture, parents drilling their kids on the importance of an education etc. — the same can be said about Je wish families — you would able to clearly see what makes a group of people successful or unsuccessful. The reasons have little to do with “institutional” other than the negative impact the welfare state has had on black people in America.

Put down the pom poms and make an argument. Don’t clutter the thread with your typical drivel.

Your ignorance speaks for itself. You are good at embarrassing yourself. I am sure the GOP is thrilled to have you.
You think Blacks are the only low-income minorities in the U.S.? It is clear that you do not read books, and are highly uneducated.
The books and research are wrong, and you are right. Got it....

The scary part is that he actually thinks he is presenting a winning argument.

Does anyone now have a clearer picture of what institutional racism is? No.
Did you provide any clear examples of institutional racism in 2020? No.
Did you hide behind insults and emojis? Yes.
Did you team up with a fellow democrat in an attempt to make yourself feel better? Yes.
Run of the mill.

Yeah thats it.
Native Americans don't suffer from social, economic, and political inequalities?
Latinos and Hispanics don't either?
Were "Indian Americans" or Jewish people the target of Jim Crow era laws, or redlining practices in housing, which still carry effects today (Housing segregation)?
I imagine such policies and laws are just fictional and never occurred?
My goodness, you are unintelligent.

You are a lost cause.
Housing segregation is not a policy. It is an institutional problem, which is still pervasive in housing institutions (lenders, real estate firms, housing markets).
Do you think past policies do not carry long-lasting effects?
If you think housing segregation is no longer an issue, you are delusional and more misinformed and unintelligent than I even thought possible.

Where do you live?
Choose a major American city and conduct some research.
You are about as clueless as they come.
I am not doing your homework for you. You think books and journal articles are wrong regardless, so why would I report any information to you?
You already showed your ignorance by claiming you do not read books or trust scholarly research.
Even when presented with facts, you will claim they are "wrong", so what exactly is the purpose of proving you wrong? You are someone who always thinks they are right without facts to backup points. much like GOP Trumpers.

Good one.
"Books and journal articles are wrong."
Where is your factual evidence and "information" that Indian Americans and Jewish are the highest earners because of family structure, and culture?
Facts? Sources? Books?
Never mind, you indicate that you do not read scholarly sources or books.
These are your personal beliefs, generalizations, and observations, and not rooted in any facts, much like most of the nonsense you spew around here.

Please list the facts that you presented (you can’t).
This is todays Democratic Party. They have absolutely no idea what they’re talking about. And they do so in a condescending fashion.
This guy honestly believes that he is smart, I am stupid, and he just presented a solid argument for “institutional housing segregation” in 2020.

Please list your facts regarding Indian American and Jewish families earnings resulting from family structure and culture (you can't).
Just like today's GOP members, presenting arguments based on stereotypes and misconceptions, and has no idea what he is talking about, and does so an in insulting manner. Still, without presenting any facts or sources, yet thinks he is smart by admitting he does not read or trust books or scholarly research.

I’ve read all of the “scholarly sources and books”.
The facts are that they are the highest earners and have statistically strong family structures. They obviously place a priority on having a strong family structure. This type of thing would fall into the “culture” category.
What exactly would you like a “fact, source, book” for? The fact that kids born into a strong family structure outperform kids born into a weak family structure? Please explain what you would like a source for because I’d be happy to provide it.

Clearly you have not read all of the books and journal articles on housing segregation.
Which fact do you want? The fact that a black family earning 100k within the household, who has been able to escape their impoverished minority community is shifted and integrated into white communities where average household earning is 35k?
Why is this trend not common for White families earning six figure household incomes who typically live together in same communities?
Why is there a lack of diverse racial housing communities, despite the U.S. being one of the most diverse countries in the world?
Anything to do with housing segregation??? Hmmm.
Sounds like you need to do some more reading young fella.

Here (figure 2) we see that black children under eighteen living in poverty decreases from 45 percent for mother-only households and 36 percent for father-only households to just 12 percent for married-couple households.
Are you implying that married-couple households are not a factor?

Do you think these family conditions carry any relationship to access to quality, affordable housing, and the housing context in general? Any connection between black children living in poverty and access to quality schools? Again, how are public schools funded at the state level? (I'll give you a hint... It's tied to housing).
I know this is difficult for you, but dig deep do some research, and engage in critical thinking.
You are just getting started on your journey toward enlightenment.
