Banks, or some banks, are protected by armed guards because banks contain large amounts of money. People who bring guns into banks in order to threaten or, if they deem it necessary, shoot bank employees almost always do with the goal of obtaining money and then escaping. So far as I know, there has never been a case of a maniac entering a bank and randomly shooting employees and customers as an end in itself, without regard to the rational, predictable goal of stealing cash.

They have armed guards at Popeyes chicken if it’s in an area with a lot of Obama supporters.

There is an armed police officer inside the credit union I use on Saturdays. Saturday is the only day of the week I am inside the credit union.

How can one person guard an entire campus of multiple buildings/floors?   

And if a kid wants to shoot people but is worried about the guard/teacher with the gun, why wouldn't he just wait to get on the bus to cause his carnage?   The issue of a pissed off kid with a list of people to kill and the means to do it does not get solved by any of this



It's an EXTREMELY flawed idea.

Every teacher isn't going to sign up for conceal and carry, but I'm sure the mere fact that it's not a "Gun Free Zone" where the animal has the only gun, will cause him some pause. If you notice the terrorists and domestic POS always attack where there will be NO RESISTANCE.

Speaking of a flawed idea, a first grader bringing a gun to school? I thought they waited 'til 7th grade before they brought Mommy's gun to school? I'm sure the teacher will just start blasting at any sight of a gun, my God, do you read what you type? No wonder your types hate guns so much, you have no reasoning ability or common sense. I'm pretty sure unless the 1st grader points the gun at the teacher, he's not going to shoot him.

Let's say your in Mr. Kersey's classroom and Cruz is shooting his way down the hallway. Mr. Moore is across the hall with no gun. Who's classroom do you want to be in?

And I don't hate guns.   There are guns in the house.  My friends all hunt.   Why do YOU people always assume that if someone argues against guns that they hate them?

Asinine to ask where money will come from to train teachers proper gun skills?

Since when do they never have the money to do anything they want? Certainly, the school system with the taxes they receive could carve out a few bucks for concealed/carry training. 

Also, if the kid wants to shoot up the school bus or any other bus, it's nearly impossible to stop that just like going into a church. The discussion is protecting school children in SCHOOL.

You never answered my questions regarding who's class you rather be in Mr. Kersey or Mr. Moore's when you start hearing gunfire getting closer from the hallway?

And I applaud Detox for seeing the light. He couldn't deny/defend what he saw any longer. BWS you can't hang with him in a debate.

I think this might be the only issue you & I differ on. Let me answer your question this way:

If I was going to be brought up in poverty, or on welfare, or my "Mom" had an "accident" at 14, not graduate high school, and was going to be living with her mom who did the same thing at the same age, or "Mom" is addicted to crack or heroin, then by all means "Abort Away"!!!!

Get back to me when you fall in love with "Dad", he's gainfully employed, you're both a little more financially stable and adult enough to bring me into this world. I'll see you then.....
